It is reported by the Associated Press and every other outlet that 58-year-old Ryan Routh of Hawaii decided to take a shot at President Trump on his golf course. When he missed, he dropped his AK-47 and sped off. He was caught and arrested a few miles away on I-95.
Presently, Kamala Harris has the same protection as Joe Biden. After two attempts on his life, wouldn’t it be in the government’s best interest to protect Donald Trump equally? If nothing else but to show it is taking this potential on-going threat seriously?
We are talking about eight weeks here. If he loses, the protection goes back to the same given to Clinton, Carter, Bush and Obama. And for Biden after January 20.
And if he wins, then the protection as President-Elect is already in place.
If if is the cost of the protection, well, the government wastes a lot of money on many less important things. Here is an idea. Use eight weeks of stupid green deal money and protect the Republican Nominee with it. That would make more sense than issuing more global warming mandates.
It is amazing how senior government officials and the Secret Service are walking around with their heads up their butts, especially after the near-disaster of July 13. And its aftermath.
These are supposed to be the best and the brightest we have to offer. Instead, these officials are dumber than a box of rocks. With apologies to the box AND the pile of rocks.
“Oops, sorry” WILL NOT BE acceptable if he gets shot and dies. And the current fools in the Biden-Harris Administration, from that dottering old fool and his kacklin' lackey on top, all the way through every Department Head and key subordinates will be held accountable for failing to stop it from happening.
Give Trump the protection and avoid a disaster.
