She played it in New York as a four-year old and played it last season, first as a five-year-old and then, in the Spring as a six-year-old.
She is very athletic: she can hit, run, field and throw the baseball. She has a pretty good arm. She also does tap, ballet, does cartwheels and somersaults. And tennis. And she goes to school, too.
She is looking forward to baseball this season. Last year, she was on the “METS” which she knew made me very happy. This year, she is on the “PHILLIES”. She likes it because she gets to wear red.
Opening Day starts at 9 AM, which means we need to leave by 8 to get parking. It is a municipal field, with all ages from five to eighteen. And there is a concession stand.
The season goes from now until early December. And then, starts again from February until May. If you love to play, or even watch, kids play baseball, this is the place to be.
So get ready for a fun-filled season as the umpire yells out: Play Ball! And Batter Up!!
