The Fate of Big Tech's Censorship

If you believe the Big Tech companies don’t censor your searches or your posts, you are walking around with blinders on. Both Meta and Google are required to submit current documentation from January, 2023 to the current day by August 28 to the Republican-controlled House Oversight Committee to answer questions regarding the censoring of inquiries concerning the Trump Assassination Attempt and other issues.

In addition, Republican Senator Roger Marshall ìs launching an investigation into Google for essentially the same issue. He, of course, will be stonewalled by his Democrat colleagues as most Democrats are in political alignment with tech company executives.

While the Republicans control the House, they will subpoena the execs if the documents requested prove inconclusive; the companies will attempt to resist Senator Marshall’s investigation since the Democrats presently control the Senate.

But if the Republicans take control of both Houses in November, the resistance the tech companies may employ now will backfire mightily against them. They may better serve their shareholders and comply, lest they are fined for non-compliance when the Democrats can’t protect them.

What are the tech execs attempting to cover up? It is apparent to many reasonable people that they censor speech they don’t agree with.

Soon enough, their monopolistic control of information will suffer the same fate as other companies which thought they could control their industries. Ironically, they will prove to be failures to their shareholders.

Then, perhaps, they will be sued for fiduciary misconduct by their shareholders.
