Happy HalloThanksMas, Everyone!!

Today, I walked around Costco to do some shopping and to see what they have. And what to my wondering eyes did appear, but a full-blown HalloThanksMas spectacular!

Trees and lights and wreaths of all different sizes and colors. Thanksgiving ornaments to take home and decorate the front lawn. Even delicious pumpkin pies and other holiday treats.

They had plenty of evaporated milk available, along with cans of pumpkin for the adventurous home-style, holiday baker (like me). And bags of stuffing to buy ahead of time, before the rush in November

Then, it was onto Home Depot, which had some Christmas decoration items already on clearance. And plenty of ten-dollar stocking stuffers, for Dad and the kids, (and Moms, too) strategically placed by the trees and lights to be impulse bought.

We stopped at Aldi, which ALWAYS has an aisle set up for people looking to buy a gift or two, as they approach the registers. I did that back in the summer when I bought frying pans that looked too good to pass up. It is always about purchasing what you think you may need at moment's notice.

And finally, the stop at Dunkin’ featured seasonally-flavored coffees and Halloween and Thanksgiving decorated treats. Of course, who could pass up a scary donut, right?

And although we didn’t stop at our local Publix today, I know if I want a seasonally-flavored ice cream, I can hop into my car and pick up a couple of different flavors as my mood sees fit. They feature EIGHT! YUM!!

Yes, everyone is getting into a festive mood, with all sorts of seasonal items available. It makes the ho-hum seem just a little more pleasurable. Yes?

So, let me, on this sunny Sunday in October, with the Fall temperaturehere at least in Florida, at a comfortable  82*, be the first to wish you a very Happy HalloThanksMas to you and yours!
