“This isn’t just about Republicans. We need a Democratic Party that fights harder for us, too,” Ocasio-Cortez told the crowd at the Las Vegas rally on Thursday.
But Senator Fetterman isn’t buying or supporting her point of view.
“Fight ‘harder’, a stunt that would have harmed millions and plunged us into chaos,” the Pennsylvania Democrat wrote on X, reacting to a headline highlighting Ocasio-Cortez’s comments.
“We kept our government open. Deal with it,” the Senator added.
She was spewing her venom at the ten Senate Democrats, including Fetterman, who decided to vote for country over party by voting with the Republicans to keep the government operating.
She was especially miffed at Senator Chuck Schumer who made an impassioned speech denouncing President Trump’s policies and Elon Musk, but in the end, said he would support the CR.
She is leading the charge, as well, to have Senate Democrats dump the Chuckster from his Senate Minority Leader position. And of course, she has been joined by Biden back-stabber Nancy Pelosi in this quest.
Keep in mind that neither Pelosi nor AOC have any skin in that game, since neither can vote in the Senate for Senate Leadership positions. It is all to rile up other Democrat Senators to do their bidding.
It is rumored, as well, that AOC is preparing to primary Schumer, but unless he resigns soon, and she runs against his governor-appointed replacement in 2026, that won’t happen until 2028. A lot can happen in the interim.
Including the Democrat Party to complete the committing of fratricide.
