What One Woman’s Goal Could Achieve For All

​Tomorrow is the sixty-second Israel Day Parade, which began in 1964 to celebrate the bind between American Jewishness and the State of Israel.

The parade was launched to achieve a few specific goals:

• Community Solidarity: Modeled after other ethnic pride parades in Manhattan, it was designed as a highly visible, public display of support and celebration for Israel.
• Global Unity: It provides a platform to celebrate the spirit of the Israeli people and honor Jewish heritage in New York.
• Historical Commemoration: It serves as an annual tribute to the creation of the State of Israel, which was established in 1948.

It is now enjoyed by many Americans, Christians and Jews alike, to foster better relations by people of all faiths. And this year, a brave Muslim activist, who has devoted her life to promoting religious freedom and denouncing violent extremism is vowing to lead the first Muslim group ever to march in the Israel on Fifth Parade in spite of threats to “wear a bulletproof vest.,”  Anila Ali, a Pakistan native turned fearless DC-based civil rights activist.

The 58-year-old powerhouse founder of the American Muslim & Multifaith Women’s Empowerment Council said she plans to march with a few dozen Muslim supporters, including an imam and children, despite a barrage of intimidation tactics from “nefarious forces” for daring to show solidarity with Israel. 

For her and her supporters, this is a display what religious harmony can bring when hate, by a extreme few, is silenced by those who would rather live in peace and with respect for others of different beliefs.

Showing up now in the wake of unprecedented anti-Semitism in the Big Apple sends a strong message, said Ali, who added she’s been targeted by the Islamic regime for her interfaith work, which has included taking groups of Muslims, including the first Pakistani delegation, to Israel. 

“I want to show I’m a proud Muslim. I try not to think about the threat, but about what we’re doing, standing with Israel’s right to exist,” Ali said in the wake of accusations of being an “Islamonazi” and a “grifter” cashing in on Jewish money.

Ali, who has lived in the US for 30 years and found support in the Jewish community after 9/11, blasted Mayor Zohran Mamdani for being a no-show at the Sunday parade, the first ever mayor to skip the festivities since its 1962 inception. 

She called out the “dangerous” Democratic socialist for “empowering radicals” who target the Jewish community.

Perhaps other Muslims will find the courage to support Jewish issues, as Anila Ali and her group have. The City, the Country and the World  would be better off than what a small, radicalized minority constantly tries to wield.

And this may be the first step in achieving the peace and respect we all yearn to enjoy.

The Mets Won’t Repeat History This Year

​On May 30, 2024, the Mets’ record was 23 and 33. And they went on to play in the National League Championship Series against the Dodgers. And lost in the seventh game.

This year, with a different cast of characters (decidedly so), as of this morning, exactly two years later, they are 24 and 33. Could this portend into another rally to gain entry into the playoffs again?

Only in our dreams, Mets Fans.

This team may have more talent man for man than the 2024 team. But for most of them, they signed last off-season for a big paycheck.

The 2024 team came together because they were hungry, had mostly played together for several years, and learned to overlook the quirkiness of each other. This team, from the start of Spring Training, had no such history or personality traits.

And the brilliant POBO, David Stearns, showed he was such an egomaniac that he let the heart and soul of the team leave without a care for the fan base. Now, he gets to wallow in the disaster HE created.

The owner, Steve Cohen, gets to see half the stadium empty on most nights. Yes, there are games which 30,000 or more may show up, but it is tied to a give-away or a special event. Like today, when Bobby Valentine and Lee Mazzilli are honored as the latest Mets Hall of Fame inductees.

Boy Genius Stearns is hoping, by bringing up the future now, that these rookies will help remove the stink on this club that Stearns himself created. But he knows they are too young to really gel, at least this year, as a team. And Steve Cohen knows he is paying a hefty price at $370MM for a team in a rebuilding mode.

Not a good look for a savvy businessman, is it?

And for those of us who have been loyal, long-suffering fans, apparently this is our penance for everything and anything we have ever done. And we get it. 

So, we will continue to watch and root for the boys in Orange and Blue, much like the fans of the Brooklyn Dodgers, who were loyal to the core for their “Bums”, until they were deserted for Los Angeles. Because that is in our DNA. As true Orange and Blue fans.

All we can do each night as we watch the disaster Stearns created and cheer with all our might and as loud as we can, LETS GO METS!

Mamdani Shows His Ugly Anti-Semitic Character

​Yesterday, DSA Mayor Zohran Mamdani, an avowed Communist, revealed again his anti-Semitic attitude by claiming he will NOT attend the annual Israel Day Parade on Sunday. A tradition which every New York City mayor has attended annually since it was first held 1964.

Why? Because he disagrees with the Jewish state’s government.

First of all, you don’t have to support the Israeli government to attend. After all, Senator Schmuck Schumer has attended in the past. And he doesn’t support Israel, either.

The celebration along Fifth Avenue draws tens of thousands of revelers annually, including local community groups and students. Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch will, instead, serve as an honorary Grand Marshall this year.

The top cop, who is Jewish, pointed to herself during the briefing when a reporter asked if anyone would be representing the Mamdani administration at the parade.

“It is the mayor’s decision not to march, and it is my decision to march proudly,” she said.

But some members of the Jewish community weren’t convinced by Mamdani’s reason for ditching the event, pointing out it is a celebration of religious identity and comes at a time when anti-Semitism continues to roil the City.

And considering that there are about ONE MILLION Jews living in New York City and over TWO MILLION Jews living in the New York Metro area, the largest number of Jews outside Israel, it is actually an insult to almost 15% of the City’s residents.

Rabbi Marc Schneier, president of the Foundation for Ethnic Understanding, had a blunt message for the Democratic Socialists of America darling  and said recently, “The mayor was elected to lead all of us. He has decided that some of us are not worth his time. That is his right. It is also our right to remember it.”

Mamdani’s snub stands in sharp contrast with his predecessors and comes after he happily joined other festivities this year, including the Lunar New Year Parade honoring Asian citizens, the Pragwah Parade honoring Indians and other Hindus, and the St Patrick’s Day Parade honoring the Irish. But his hatred for citizens who profess Judaism is actually abominable and appalling.

Let’s keep this in mind what a bigot he truly is.

What Happens When Patience Is Lost

​Patience is the mark of a person which some have seen as weakness. But patience, or forbearance, is one of the Gifts God gives to a person, like Wisdom and Grace, to battle through tough obstacles.

President Trump has displayed much patience since the ceasefire began on April 8, after about six weeks of unremitting bombardment of the IRGC and the Iran regime. And it has been extended several times since then.

And in spite of the dalliances and delays by Iran to finalize a “peace agreement”, the President has displayed extraordinary patience, ignoring both world opinion and from critics in this country. Oh, and the continued gnat-like annoyance of Iran.

It continues to poke and prod, as if the bear will ignore and try to swat the pest away. But like the bear, Trump may lose patience and finally explode with a vengeance. And it will be too late to calm his resolve.

The IRGC taunts the US by insisting Iran has won the war, by planting mines in the Strait of Hormuz, and then claiming “foul” when the US destroys the boats, and now attacks Kuwait because that country hosts US assets. 

But the time is growing short for the IRGC and its goons. The ceasefire will soon come to an end at Iran’s peril. And world opinion has started to turn against Iran because it has denied its oil from those countries which critically rely on it.

The regime recently reopened its internet to the people. It hopes that by doing so, it can win the people over to its side. But it is probably too late. The economy is in disarray, the military is not getting paid, and inflation is out of control, making the cost of food, gas and other essential services, like heat and electricity, prohibitive.

Even patience, which is a virtue, can be worn out by those who persist in abnormal and inhumane behavior. Patience is finally lost when expectations for immediacy collides with reality.

The reality is that the IRGC will not budge from its unrealistic position of keeping it nuclear dust and control of the strait. And continuing the elimination of those who oppose their barbaric, demonic actions within the country.

The clock is at fifteen seconds to midnight. And Trump’s patience is approaching the terminal.

Be prepared for explosions to rock Iran soon.

Linking Taqiyyah to the IRGC

​It has been said before many times in this space that no agreement can be made with Iran unless the people can live in peace without fear from the torture and executions from the government. Anything short of this condition is only a continuation of the barbarism the people must live with.

And the words of the IRGC are meaningless anyway, as they have violated the essence of what has been agreed, as evidenced by the mining of the Hormuz Strait this past weekend.

Their word is meaningless. And their actions are delay tactics, hoping American and world public opinion will eventually grow favorably for Iran’s position.

President Trump will make a rare trip to Camp David on Wednesday to hold a cabinet meeting as peace talks with Iran near crunch time.

All members of the Cabinet are expected to attend. Officials will discuss “recent successes of the administration including economy and small business wins, Task Force to Eliminate Fraud highlights, and foreign policy updates,” according to a White House official.

But of course, Iran is likely to dominate the conversation after the US conducted overnight strikes on targets in the south of the country, followed by Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei threatening American military bases in the Middle East.  

As well it should. Operation Epic Fury was initiated to have Iran give up its nuclear ambitions, and to date, with all of the “ceasefires” and “negotiations”, the IRGC and the regime have refused to concede on this point.

It seems Iran will continue to develop its nuclear capabilities even after any agreement is negotiated. 

Taqiyyah is an Islamic term used to disguise the true intent by the one who employs it. Generally, Shia Muslims are the most adept in this practice. And, is the majority of Muslims, including the IRGC, in Iran.

While Captain Kirk is, of course, a fictional character, speaking about fictional Klingons, the words still ring true. President Trump would by wise to heed the good Captain’s advice.

They have proven time and again over the last forty-seven years that their words are not their bond. And their actions carry greater weight than their souls. 

Unless the IRGC and this illegitimate, soulless regime is eliminated, the only guarantee will be the continued terrorist and barbaric abilities we have witnessed for years. Both inside and outside Iran.

The Solemnity of Memorial Day, 2026

Today, we begin our Unoffcial First Day of Summer. The temperatures have begun to warm, the trees and flowers are in full bloom, and we anticipate longer nights, with fire pits, great music and a ton of fun.

But before we crack open that first ice cold brew and grill that hot dog or burger, or whatever your culinary pleasure, we need to remember the importance, the solemnity of this day.

People died and many cried for them as they gave their lives for the joys of liberty and freedom we take for granted. It began to take shape in 1763, as the colonists slowly realized that their rights as British citizens were  slowly eroding.

In 1776, it came truly into focus when brave American patriots announced to the world that they were free men, no longer subject to the rules of a government across a vast ocean who cared nothing of their well-being.

In 1787 and 1788, these new Americans argued over every word of what would become the Sacred Document of the United States. And by 1861, the phrase “the United States are” was fought over for four years, where many died, until that phrase forevermore became “the United States is”.

By the beginning of the 20th century, Americans were beginning to live in a prosperous country, with many modern conveniences of the time, developing new and exciting lifestyles, only the rich could previously afford. And when WWI broke out, many American soldiers went to Europe to fight and die for democracy and freedom, in order to end “the War to End All Wars.”

And less than twenty-five years later, many more Americans would die in a war to bring liberty and freedom across the globe, in a noble cause to end fascism and Nazism which stripped many people of those liberties and freedoms.

But for the rest of the 20th Century and right through today in the 21st  century, Americans still die for the right to have others enjoy what we seem to take for granted. All over the world.

It is time for America, you know, the United States of America, to remember that the United States IS one nation under God, who has given much blood and treasure for the liberty, justice and freedom for all mankind. 

And to take a moment of silence to thank God Almighty and those who died for those American values, before we celebrate with that first ice cold beer, for the privilege of taking those values and rights for granted. Amen.

What Is Wrong With the I-Gen Generation?

What is going on with Gen Z and early Generation Alpha kids? Do they think they are invincible? Or immortal? 

Or do some of them have suicidal tendencies, which are immune to mood-changing effects? Like those found in Prozac or Ritalin?

Yesterday, a crazed gunman who believed he was Jesus Christ pulled out a revolver and opened fire outside the White House Saturday night, before he was quickly taken down by a barrage of shots from the Secret Service.

Nasire Best, 21, fired at a checkpoint at about 6:10 PM after being seen pacing in a strange manner up and down 17th St Northwest. He only got off a few shots before he was shot and killed in a hail of bullets from federal officers

He is just the latest in what is believed to be a generation of strung out kids who are seeking some sort of of life-defining recognition by taking a chance to assassinate President Trump.

This began with Thomas Crooks, who was 20 when he attempted ato assassinate Donald Trump in July, 2024. He was followed by Ryan Routh, a sixty-five year old man, who does not fit the group, tried to gain notoriety just two months later.

Then, in December, 2024, Luigi Mangione, now 28, allegedly killed Brian Thompson, the CEO of United Health Care in New York City. In September, 2025, Tyler Robinson, a twenty-three year old man, allegedly assassinated Charlie Kirk, Turning Point USA founder, at a rally in Utah.

Austin Martin, 21, was killed when he attempted to breach Mar-a-lago in February, 2026. It is presumed that he thought the President was in attendance.

And in April, 2026, Cole Allen, 31, allegedly attempted to assassinate President Trump and others at the most recent White House Correspondents’ Dinner.

There were other notable shootings or murder attempts in the last three years, mostly by Gen Z or Alpha Gen people. But it is not exclusive to these groups. 

It is believed the zeitgeist of Gen Z has been largely shaped by, among other things, the Covid-19 pandemic, social media and demographic turns. The turbulence of the past decade has undercut, to a marked degree, their confidence in foundational American values of pluralism, civic participation, free enterprise and democracy. The generation feels a huge disconnect to American society as a whole.

Thus, the high prepondence of violence. But that generation is also the first to be exposed to a predominantly high-tech learning eenvironment, with the Internet, iPhones, iPads, iPods, and other tech screen time at their disposal. Hence the I-Gen group.

Perhaps, it is time to return to a day gone by, and remove the opportunity to learn from all this electronic media. It has desensitized their humanity.

And return to human, rather than digital interfacing, so that they maintain their social skills to deal with others. Even those with whom they disagree. 

Democrat Dirty Tricks to Compromise Democracy

The Democrat Party, at least in Brooklyn, if not in all of Nrw York State and the United States, has proven itself to be corrupt, and certainly will do anything to control the outcome of an election. Election interference in order to preserve its version of “democracy”. Hmmm?

Ghoulish Democratic bosses promoted a dead man as a candidate in southern Brooklyn while soliciting petition signatures to help get House Minority Leader Representative Hakeem Jeffries back on the ballot. Robert Gevertzman, a longtime  moderate Democrat community leader who died in March 2025 at the age of 76, shockingly cleared the petition-checking process, records show. 

Gevertzman is now slated to be below Jeffries on the Democratic ticket and run unopposed in next month’s primary for a seat on the Kings County Democratic Committee. The Democrat dirty tricks didn’t end with raising the dead, however.

Borough party leaders also deployed a one-armed man who was caught in a series of bizarre videos this week claiming longtime lefty operative Joey Cohen-Saban isn’t a Democrat to help him secure enough signatures to qualify for a third-party line and boost his candidacy in a tight race to unseat state Assembyman Michael Novakhov (R-Brooklyn).

Cohen-Saban, as the local Democratic district leader, along with Brooklyn Democratic Party Chairperson and state Assemblywoman Rodneyse Bichotte Hermelyn, are the main culprits in the alleged efforts to mislead voters, Novakhov and other borough Republican honchos contend.

But of course, the Democrat Party and its left-wing media goons continue to accuse Republicans to be “existential threats to democracy.”

They expect that people are either ignorant to this deceit or are woefully blinded by their own beliefs that Democrats would not stoop to this level of election malfeasance. But here is a bulletin for all of you: the Democrats will do ANYTHING to steal this or any other election.

And the Lame Stream Media acts like the party’s press agent. Just like TASS in Soviet Russia. For those of you who don’t know or don’t remember, TASS is registered as a Federal State Unitary Enterprise, owned by the Government of Russia.

Headquartered in Moscow, TASS has 70 offices in Russia and in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), as well as 68 bureaus around the world. CIS are the countries which made up the former Soviet Union.

So, the LSM, you know, companies like ABC, NBC, CNN, the New York Times and MS NOW, among others, are modern-day mirrors of TASS, the voice or press agents of “the Party”. 

They will ignore this blatant piracy of our elections and our government, and will only espouse the claims of the Demorat Party leaders like Schumer, Jeffries, AOC and other miscreants.

So as we move closer to the midterms, you can be assured of the Democrats' attempts to ìnfluence the primaries and the general election across the country. They have managed to create the playbook and use it already.

The Continued Holocaust of the Iranian People

​Recently, Marizyah Amirizadeh criticized Pope Leo for awarding the Papal Order of Pius IX to the Iranian Ambassador to the Holy See, Mohammed Hussein Mokhtari. He was the man who sentenced her to death in Iran for converting to Christianity in 2009.

She and Maryam Rostampour were sentenced to be hanged for their “sins against God.” 

They were detained in the notorious Evin Prison for 259 days, where they were tortured and interrogated. Only worldwide public protests prevented Mokhtari from carrying out this heinous, inhumane crime.

Amirizadeh was released on November 18, 2009, following international pressure on the Iranian regime from entities such as the Holy See, the US State Department, and the United Nations.

After her release, Amirizadeh moved to Turkey, where she applied for asylum in the United States. In 2011, her asylum application was approved, and she moved to America. She became a US citizen in 2016 and gained a Master of Science in International Affairs from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta in 2019.

In 2022, Amirizadeh ran for election in the Georgia House of Representatives as a Republican, further extending her commitment to public service and advocacy for causes she believes in, including the restoration of relations between Iran and Israel, saying that both the Iranian and Israeli peoples share common concerns regarding the ruling Iranian regime.

 

While the Vatican and others claim this honor is bestowed on anyone who serves as a diplomat to the Vatican, Iranian media and government officials are claiming the Pope himself has presented Mokhtari with this “highest diplomatic honor”. 

Iranian outlets have framed the decoration as a special reward for promoting peace and a gesture of papal solidarity regarding regional conflicts.  And Pope Leo  has remained silent on this whole affair, which seems to condone acceptance to the propaganda.

This is another outrage by the Catholic Church by remaining silent while innocent Iranian citizens are murdered without consequence by their own government. How much longer will this 21st Century Holocaust be tolerated?

Clawing Back a Union President’s Unauthorized Expenditures

​One would hope that a union leader would use the funds raised by the dues collected would be used to benefit union members. Not to write a book to benefit herself and by heaping praise in a self-aggrandizing manner.

But that is what AFT Union President, Randi Weingarten has done.

Weingarten used the abundance of union-fueled resources for the liberal agenda-pushing “Why Fascists Fear Teachers: Public Education and the Future of Democracy,” then pocketed a portion of the proceeds, the Freedom Foundation claimed in a new report.

Her team included an attorney who supposedly worked on the book pro bono but whose firm raked in $977,000 for various work for AFT, as well as a supposed “ghost writer” who earned over $400,000 overall from the union, the report said.

The union also forked over more than $11,000 to two people who “fact-checked” and apparently took photos of the labor big for the tome, which was heralded by the publisher as a “manifesto for our time.”

“Most AFT members pay dues in exchange for workplace representation, not to fund the union president’s literary pursuits,” said Maxford Nelsen, the Freedom Foundation’s director of research and government affairs.

“However, AFT appears to have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars in members’ dues on top-tier consultants, lawyers, and agents to get WFFT published,” Nelson went on. “Indeed, the wide range of expenses borne by AFT suggests that Weingarten may not have contributed anything at all financially to the enterprise.”

Ultimately, the union paid $1.4MM to third parties and the publisher out of union dues, even though not all union members may necessarily agree with the political positions of Ms Weingarten. That is a travesty of the rights of those members.

And the report also disclosed two “royalty payments” totaling $125,000 to a Weingarten-controlled entity called “Teachers Want What Kids Need, LLC,” which the analysis points out is not a tax-exempt charity but “an opaque corporate entity incorporated in Delaware.” Probably under Weingarten’s total control. This is in addition to her almost $450,000 annual salary, plus benefits and pension contributions made on her behalf. 

Perhaps union members should look into this egregious action by Weingarten, and all monies paid on her behalf to her and others without specific consent. Not the implied consent she is basing her justification to actually authorize this.

It certainly would not be permitted in the private sector.

Memorial Day, 2026

​This weekend, beginning on May 23, we will once again start Unofficial Summer festivities. Yes, My Friends, we will celebrate Memorial Day, 2026.

But this not just any summer; instead, we will begin the celebration of our 250th year of our Glorious Independence.

When the War for Independence started, the colonists had little hope that they would be successful. But after six years, their determination and grit won out as the British decided that their losses were too great to overcome the colonists’ perseverance and resilience.

We mark this anniversary not from when the war started in April, 1775, but from the date the Declaration of Independence was published and proclaimed. July 4, 1776.

And Memorial Day, which started  as Decoration Day to honor those who died from both sides in the Civil War when the Northern and Southern states fought over initially the principle of states’ rights, and later, over the issue of slavery, now we remember ALL Americans who gave their lives for the defense of our country. And for the Freedom and Liberty we all cherish.

This week we will be shopping for our barbecues and picnics, we will be enjoying, of course. But we should also plant a flag in honor of someone who gave his or her life so we can freely enjoy this weekend. 

We should spend a moment of silence  as we celebrate the freedoms our heroes gave for that privilege.

And sing a couple of patriot songs, too. It is a matter of respect.

The Subway Series Is Here - Again

​Tonight begins the first of two weekends for the Battle For New York, otherwise known as the Subway Series. In recent years, it has been a more evenly matched series of games, with plenty of excitement for the fans of both teams.

Yes, My Friends. We are talking about the New York Mets and the New York Yankees.

There are other baseball rivalries which come to mind: the Cubs and White Sox, the Pirates and Phillies, the Dodgers and Giants, the Rangers and Astros, the Reds and Guardians, to name just a few. But no rivalry matches the Yankees and Mets.

They play in the Greatest City in the World, after all. You know, the City That Never Sleeps; the Home of the Macys Thanksgiving Parade; the Big Apple; the Empire State of Mind; the Concrete Jungle, for the Big Hustle; and of course, New York, New York.

There are no other rivalries which generate this much interest. It is Davey v Goliath, Underdog v Bulldog, Kid Brother v Big Brother. Upstarts v Bombers - the Mets v the Yankees.

The Mets have won only two World Series in their history, while the Yankees have won FOURTEEN times as many. And this year, the Yankees are once again competing for a pennant, while the Mets can barely keep their heads out of the basement.

But for this weekend, they stand on even ground before they begin play tonight. Why? Because one pitch, one hit can make all the difference in a game. And there are THREE games which will be played from now until Sunday afternoon.

And when the dust settles, the fans of one team will hold the bragging rights all summer until the next meeting is held  in September. Meanwhile, who knows what effect this series will have on either team going forward until they face off again?

Until then, long-suffering fans of the Orange and Blue can cheer, LETS GO METS!

Believing in Truth, Justice and Human Rights For All

Xaviaer DuRousseau, 29, revealed that he did a complete 180 from his liberal upbringing during the 2020 George Floyd riots as he realized that the movement was a money grab and that he was indoctrinated.​

“Once I started looking at the conservative side of the argument, I started realizing, oh, wait, socialism has literally never worked. BLM has always been a scam, and the Democratic Party has always been the party of racism and violence,” DuRousseau said on former NCAA swimmer Riley Gaines’ podcast Wednesday.

“I have just been drinking the Kool-Aid because this was the indoctrination that was put upon me from the age of a little child,” the PragerU influencer added.

“With growth and maturity, I recognize that there’s a huge difference between individualized or circumstantial racism that’s happening person to person versus a systemic issue that needs to be addressed at a larger scale.” he told Breitbart News last year.

“In retrospect, I came to understand that yes, there are racist people, but ultimately the average American and the majority of people in this country are so adamantly against racism that it’s foolish to even consider that systemic racism is still a trope in this country because we’re so far removed from that.”

Most Americans would agree with Mr DuRousseau. We are not racist by nature; we recognize we may have differences in cultural backgrounds, musical tastes, political beliefs and and even social concerns. But we all breathe the same air and we all bleed the same color.

Smart Americans will respect each other for who we are, without prejudice, and will accept each other without regard to skin color and instead, for the content of their character. Ignorant people of all races are the bigots and racists in this country.

And those who stir the racist pot of hatred are the demons who can only survive to satisfy that sickening and putrid stench which consumes their souls.

Let’s all continue the fight to achieve truth, justice and human rights for all Americans.

Let’s Not Repeat the Stupidity of Covid

​While many tragically died the last time a “pandemic” was declared, we have learned much from the lies which were perpetrated in order to spread fear and confusion, so that a few could control the populace at large.

We were told that maintaining a distance of six feet from each other, with masks on our faces, would control and stop the spread of an unknown contagion. But we have since learned that a piece of paper would NOT be a protected device.

We were told that an experimental, untested “shot” would give us immunity from the disease. Then, we were told we needed a booster to ensure its efficacy. And then another. But many still came down with the disease anyway. Several times. So false again.

We had to walk through a restaurant wearing a mask if we wanted to dine, but it was safe to take it off once we sat down at the table. Like the cheeseburger and fries had some magic power of immunity. Or, we had to sit outside in the cold and rain under a tent. Like that wouldn’t make us sick.

We had to follow the lines on the floor in a store to shop. Your local store was required to close, but “big box” stores were safe to browse. 

You were arrested if you went to worship, and were shunned on social media for protesting for your rights to pray or speak against all the dictates which contradicted the official line of government BS. And  lost your friends and neighbors because you stood your ground.

You were told that long-standing drugs like Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroqine were not permitted to be prescribed, even though they were proven to be effective for so many previously unknown diseases.

And you were fired from your job if you did not fall in line with the demands of the ruling class to get the “shot”. Which caused many to lose their homes, and in some cases, lose their families. 

And one political party tried to make us vote by mail, in order to control the outcome of elections. And allowed our representative to “proxy” vote in order to allow a few “loyalists” control the passage of desired legislation.

Essentially, we all had a taste of Communism, or Fascism. Or a demanding form of totalitarianism. And decided we did not like it. AT ALL.

Now, conveniently, there is another “outbreak” of potential election interference, under the guise of hantavirus, and other called norovirus, caused by rats in a controlled environment of a cruise ship. Just like the last one called Covid, in a controlled environment of a lab in Wuhan, China.

Let us hope we will not fall for the lies again from our government. We have have learned to be suspicious when our rights are being taken away “for our own good”. 

Or next time, we may not come back to what we have now, and may lose our freedoms and liberties forever.

End the Vulgarity in Iran

When will it stop? The regime is so paranoid that it is executing its future teachers and scientists in a warped belief that they are “committing sins against God.”

Erfan Shakourzadeh, 29, was hanged at dawn after being convicted of stealing classified satellite information from the scientific organization where he worked, Iranian state media reported. He was a promising graduate student at the University of Science and Technology in Tehran studying aerospace engineering.

The regime had accused Erfan of funneling details on satellite activities to the CIA and the Mossad. One of the many reasons to be a claim of “a sin against God”, a true blasphemy.

Shakourzadeh was arrested in February last year and forced into making a confession, according to the Iran Human Rights Society. He later retracted that forced confession just prior to his execution, according to the human rights group.

Shakourzadeh, who is the fifth person executed since the war broke out in February, spent nine months in solitary confinement where he suffered “severe physical and psychological torture,” the group added.

The IRGC, the Mullahs and those who support their cruel, barbaric, uncivilized form of “justice” have no regard for human life. Even those in the US, the EU and other parts of the world who ignore this demonic behavior are as guilty as those who actually commit these genocidal crimes.

The NAZIS in the 1930s and 1940s gave a basic lesson in holocaustic behavior, but the Islamic Regime brought it to a whole other, unspeakable level. It is truly reprehensible, despicable and repugnant.

Any agreement which allows the theocracy to continue unabated only condones this deplorable, satanic behavior by the regime. It is time to completely eliminate the IRGC and remove forever the theocracy from the face of the earth.0

And end the cruelty in Iran as it returns to a civilized society governed by freedom-loving people.

A Potential Strike Could Come on Long Island

 

The Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) is considered the largest and busiest railroad in North America by volume. It  serves over 100MM passengers annually and connects Long Island with New York City.

Key features of note:

• Ridership: As of early 2026, it carries approximately 336,300 passengers per weekday.
• Capacity: The system operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with 11 branches over 700 miles of track.
• Key Hubs: It serves Penn Station and the Grand Central Madison terminal.
• Distinction: The LIRR is the oldest commuter railroad in the US (founded 1834) that still operates under its original name.
• Competition: It frequently holds the title of largest over other major systems like Metro-North Railroad and NJ Transit.

Presently, five LIRR unions representing 3,500 workers are threatening a strike for May 16, 2026, over failed contract negotiations involving wage increases. Workers seek raises to match the high cost of living, while the MTA argues LIRR employees are already the nation's highest-paid, offering proposals that unions dismiss as "gimmicks".

And while MTA Chairman Janno Lieber stated that progress is being made and that a strike would be "crazy," unions maintain that a massive wage gap remains.

The cost for a ticket can range from $5.25 to $49.00 for a one-way ticket, depending on the time of day and the zone. And a monthly ticket will range from $172 to $488, depending on time and zone.

No matter whether the employees strike Friday at midnight, the end result will be an increase in the fare. And a strike will become a nightmare for “Dashing Dan” and “Dashing Danielle” who need to find other means to get to work.

The LIE and the parkways will become parking lots and for those who work in Manhattan, additional fees for “congestion pricing” will be paid should they drive in. And the higher cost for gas is no help, either.

The federal government intervened to prevent an immediate Long Island Rail Road strike last year, with actions extending into 2026. President Trump established a Presidential Emergency Board (PEB) to review contract disputes between unions and the MTA, initiating a "cooling-off" period that delayed potential work stoppages. But now, unless tte Department of Transportation and/or President Trump intervenes again, the strike WILL happen.

The last time the LIRR experienced a strike, OJ was in a car chase in Southern California, the World Cup kicked off in Chicago and the Rangers won the Stanley Cup. That was all on the same day in June, 1994.

For the sake of all the commuters, let’s hope the strike will be averted.

Why It Is Time to End the Filibuster

Simply defined, a filibuster is a United States Senate procedural tactic used by the minority party to delay or block a vote on legislation by extending debate indefinitely. It forces a 60-vote threshold (cloture) to end debate and move to a final vote, effectively creating a supermajority requirement for most legislation.

Recently, much discussion has taken place over the necessity for continuing this older parliamentary maneuver in the US Senate.  Traditionally, the use of the filibuster has shown the Senate to be more deliberative on matters of importance, protecting the rights of the minority, and having specific rules on which to end a filibuster.

But, as witnessed by us recently with the shutdowns of the government by the Democrats in October, for forty-three days over the overall budget, and by the Democrats, again, in February for seventy-six days over funding for Homeland Security, and in both cases delaying salary and benefits to employees, it has been revealed to be a weapon against Americans. Yet Members of Congress and their staffs continued to be paid.

Now, once again, the Democrats in the Senate, led by Charles Schumer, have threatened to invoke the filibuster again in order to defeat the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act, often referred to as the SAVE America Act, which has passed several times in the House of Representatives. This is a law in which is supported overwhelmingly by Americans, across all racial and political persuasions.

The Act is a major federal legislative proposal focused on tightening voter registration requirements for US federal elections.

Yet, less than FIFTY men and women refuse to support something that over seventy-five percent of American citizens want. This isn’t Democracy, which the Democrats claim to favor. Instead, it is the tyranny of the few in this country who would rather stand for illegals’ “rights” than for Americans.

This is actually abuse of power which dictators do all the time. Or is it really “abusive power”?

Senator Schumer has terrorized Democrats to fall in line with his petulant, controlling, Un-American mindset or they will be politically punished, especially should Democrats be elected into the majority in the Senate again. This is truly undemocratic to its core.

The American filibuster is 220 years old and was created in 1806, when the Senate removed the "previous question" motion (which allowed a simple majority to end debate), inadvertently creating the potential for indefinite stalling. But the abuse is nothing more than a tantrum by a minorty to get what it wants. Like a spoiled child.

It is time to end the filibuster. NOW!

Happy Birthday 1951

​

The primary, traditional gemstone associated with a 75th birthday (often termed a "Diamond Jubilee" birthday) is the DIAMOND. Diamonds symbolize timelessness, longevity, and strength, making them the classic choice for this significant milestone, mirroring the 75th wedding anniversary.

Those of us born in 1951 are in the midst of celebrating this monumental occasion.

We have seen much change in American society, beginning with having a television in our home, to the Space Race, to the Moon landing (and all that technology which resulted). We saw computers as big as gymnasiums to the one we hold in our hand.

We witnessed the automobile  go from a two door coupe, to the T-Bird, the Corvette and the Mustang. We went from gas-guzzling Cadillacs and Lincolns, to the inefficient Celebrity and station wagons. We saw the change in our driving habits with SUVs and electric cars and trucks.

We saw phones go from the one on our kitchen wall, to the one we carry in our pocket. Our bank was one where we needed to visit to make a deposit, to one where we send an electronic/digital image to our account.

We went from waiting for days on line to see a first-run movie to ordering it on our TV or digital device. We have gone from spending hours on Saturday to buy a product or groceries, to ordering from the comfort of our home, even late at night, and have it delivered later in the day or the next day.

And we have seen so many other advances, which are too numerous to mention. We can only imagine what our children and grandchildren will witness as they achieve this sought after milestone.

Anyway, for those of us who.are sharing this amazing birthday, I wish each of us a Very Happy and Incredible Birthday and pray for another reasonably healthy year!

CBS Changing Its Late Night Programming

​Stephen Colbert recently revealed he sent a note of congratulations to Byron Allen after CBS announced that "The Late Show" will be replaced by the producer's show "Comics Unleashed."

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter published May 6, the late-night host reacted to news that "Comics Unleashed," a comedy talk show created by Allen, will take over the 11:35PM time slot on CBS immediately after "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" ends later this month.

CBS is leasing the time slot to Allen, who noted to The Los Angeles Times last year the economics of "Comics Unleashed" are appealing to the network because he covers the production costs. "It's not cheaper," he told the Los Angeles Times. "It's zero." In April, Paramount TV Media chair George Cheeks told reporters CBS is still developing other late-night ideas, but the one-year deal with Allen allows the network "to go into immediate profitability in that slot," according to Variety. 

David Letterman was the first host of The Late Show, which began in August, 1993. He successfully hosted the show until May 20, 2015, when Colbert took over. 

Last July, it was revealed that Colbert’s contract would not be renewed after several years of declining ad revenue and upwards of $40MM in annual losses. Even in television, money talks and losses walk.

A lot of these losses are allegedly caused by the increasing evidence of TDS every night that Colbert displays. It is immediately evident in his declining nightly ratings. 

His departure was announced prior to the Skydance Media acquisition of Paramount/Viacom, CBS and all other related media properties. But it is believed the deal never would have been completed had his contract still was in play. And Shari Redstone agreed to that deal in order to realize an $8BB windfall.

Once again, money talks and losers walk.

The new owner of CBS, Paramount Skydance, is owned by the Ellison Family, chaired by David Ellison and has already begun cleaning the house of long-time woke ideologies, even in its news division. And Byron Allen is on a short leash, with a one year contract.

His contract covers both the 11:35 and 12:35 overnight time slots. In addition, CBS is using this year to create immediate profitability while developing other longer-term plans for late-night programming.

Meanwhile, Allen has a year to make CBS, and the rest of us, forget the disaster Stephen Colbert made with his unfunny lack of humor.
