In the twenty-four hours since Israel resumed bombing the strip, at least four hundred people were killed, including women and children, since the Hamas cowards hide among the civilian population to avoid detection.
Both outlets have reported that at least four of the Hamas leadership were killed, while Hamas has yet to confirm.
They are Issam al-Da'alis, who has served as Hamas’s political Gazan prime minister, Mahmoud Abu Watfa, the director-general of Hamas's Interior Ministry and related terror forces, Bahjat Abu Sultan, operational chief of Hamas's internal security apparatus, and Hamas justice minister Ahmed Omar al-Hatta.
It is believed two others may have also been killed, but it has not yet been confirmed.
Israel had warned and promised the “gates of hell would open and be unleashed” if Hamas continued to withhold releasing the hostages. And thus far, Israel has kept its word.
The IDF said on Tuesday night that it could not yet corroborate the real totals of those killed and injured and how many were Hamas versus civilians.
It is up to Hamas to comply with the terms of the agreement or Israel will end up destroying Hamas.
