First, it was reported by many media outlets that President Trump said early Monday that he was voiding all the last-minute pardons former President Joe Biden made using autopen.
“The ‘Pardons’ that Sleepy Joe Biden gave to the Unselect Committee of Political Thugs, and many others, are hereby declared VOID, VACANT, AND OF NO FURTHER FORCE OR EFFECT, because of the fact that they were done by Autopen,” Trump posted on Truth Social early Monday morning.
“In other words, Joe Biden did not sign them but, more importantly, he did not know anything about them!” he said of the oldest-ever president and concerns at his age-related mental abilities at 82.
“The necessary Pardoning Documents were not explained to, or approved by, Biden,” he wrote. “He knew nothing about them, and the people that did may have committed a crime.”
If that weren’t bad enough, a reporter asked him, during a gaggle at the Kennedy Center, about the Secret Service coverage Hunter Biden took with him to a trip to South Africa on Friday. He was surprised that the former First Son went there after his administration halted foreign aid to the country due to the government taking away land from farmers as an Apartheid reparations measure.
The New York Post reported that President Trump said he would “look into” revoking Hunter Biden’s Secret Service security detail on Monday.
“I would say if there are eighteen with Hunter Biden, that will be something I look at this afternoon.”
Surely, when he got into “the Beast” to head back to the White House, he was on the phone with Director Scott Curran to cancel old Hunter’s detail. Immediately.
And Biden would be on the way back, as well, from his $500 a night luxury hotel accommodations since he would not be safe without his detail.
The Biden pot o’ gold is drying up quicker than the rainbow after a late afternoon shower.
