The Rapid Decline To Mental Oblivion

On July 21, 2020 I wrote a commentary about Presumptive Nominee, Joe Biden called Joe Biden, Likeable Man, Lost Forever 

where I discussed my opinion of him, why I felt he should not be President, and the reasons for his family and Democrats pushing his candidacy. In addition, I felt by his speech and his body language at that time that he was suffering from dementia.

I lost several friends because they felt, since I was not a doctor, I had no right to make a claim  regarding his mental/physical health. They certainly could respond as is their right as they did. But I felt I was correct in my assessment since I bore witness first hand to several family members and two friends who suffered as he was suffering.

Over the last four years, we have all witnessed Biden’s rapid decline both mentally and physically at the peril to our economy, national security, and our stature in world opinion. And as long as his wife, family and leading Democrats continue to push for President Biden to run for re-election, his decline and our overall protection and safety will become more perilous.

There is, of course, the Twenty Fifth Amendment that could be invoked by the Vice President and the Cabinet to replace him now. But it seems, that no one in the administration or the Democrat Party has the courage to bring it up. 

Section Four states as follows: Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President.

He would still have his dignity as President since he would not be replaced. Instead, the Vice President would only be ‘Acting President’ until his term expired in January. But of course, the Democrat Party would have to muster the courage to advise the Bidens that Joe would not be nominated for another term. And, apparently, no one has the guts to withstand the wrath of Jill Biden and the rest of his family.

I am sure I am not alone in this assessment. But I would be remiss if I stood by and said nothing. So, at the risk of losing additional friends, followers and yes, even family, it is time to replace President Biden before he can do any more damage to my country as he continues his rapid decline to mental oblivion.
