The President and His Camera

Photo-ops. We all love them. Today, with our digital phones, we are all Cecil B DeMilles and Francis Ford Coppolas. We direct our friends and families to pose or to act like they have no idea we are recording or snapping away.

And, selfies. Everybody does it, including me. And Jimmy and Suzie and Phil and Monica.

And, do you know who else loves photo-ops and selfies? That's right, friends. Your and my good pal, the "Daddy of us all", according to Chris Rock, the one, the only... Barry Soetoro Hussein Obama!

If you recall, at Nelson Mandela's funeral service, Barry O whipped out his camera to take selfies with his good bud man David Cameron and his fantasy girl Helle Thorning-Schmidt. Wow! Looking good!

In Wednesday's late online edition of the Washington Post it was reported that after Barry had pizza and beer, and then shot some pool in Denver, when he went to Texas,  he said he wasn't going to go to the border, because he wasn't a fan of photo-ops.

Whaaaaaat?????

In almost six years, that is what he is best known for. There isn't a circumstance or situation where Barry has ever said, "Please, no cameras. We ask that you respect my (our) privacy." No, folks, will you EVER hear Barry make that plea.

There isn't a backdrop or an opportunity that Barry won't stop to have his picture taken. We have had some very vain, camera-crazy Presidents in our history, FDR and JFK come to mind. But Barry, by far, is the most camera-ready, vainglorious President we have ever had.

I guess, with all the negative things I have to say about Barry, his policies, and his actions, I must say SOMETHING positive about him, right? So, he is positively the most camera-ready President ever. Even when he took that selfie that Michelle didn't like for some reason, there were other cameras and recorders vrooming like crazy.

And he knew it.

Just like when he was in Denver, eating pizza, drinking beer and shooting pool, or last month when he was working out in Poland, he ALWAYS knew there was a camera in the vicinity.

Ready. Aim. Snap away!
