Why is that good news? Because at that point, with less than seventeen days left, Joe Biden probably cannot do any more damage, Schumer will become the Minority Leader in the Senate, and while maintaining a smaller majority, the Republicans will still control the House.
And nothing else Biden wants will get passed. At least, in theory.
And then, on Monday, with fourteen days to go, we watch as Kacklin’ Kammy presides over her defeat and announces Donald Trump as the 47th President. And in two weeks from this coming Monday, President Trump takes office. Again.
What a glorious next couple of weeks!
Meanwhile, the Senate will begin hearings on the nominations of the various designees Donald Trump has put forward for consideration to serve in his Cabinet. Some may be more difficult than others, but all should pass.
Hopefully, by January 20, most, if not all will be sworn into office immediately after Vice President Vance and President Trump are. Or by the 22nd at the latest.
By that Monday evening, the Trump Administration will begin fixing the disasters caused by the last four years. Quickly.
And, it all begins tomorrow.
