A Diminished Legacy by a Man Diminished with Diminished Integrity

In a big “Feck You” to Donald Trump, Presudent Joe Biden, in one of his last acts, is giving the second highest civilian award, the Presidential Citizens Medal to twenty people in a ceremony today at the White House, which includes Bennie Thompson and Liz Cheney, the leaders of the disgraced and corrupt January 6 Congressional Committee, and two political hacks, his cronies, former Senators Ted Kaufman (D-DE) and Chris Dodd (D-CT).

As for the other recipients, they seem to be more deserving, as the article outlines, in their contributions to American society.

President Biden believes these Americans are bonded by their common decency and commitment to serving others,” the White House said in a statement. “The country is better because of their dedication and sacrifice.

Hmmm… Maybe this is true for the sixteen who were NOT political lackeys. But for Thompson, Cheney, Dodd and Kaufman? No, it seems like a political payback.

And besides. How are they considered civilians now if they were public servants doing their jobs for the people? Why? Because their careers are toast?

Everything Biden is doing now is an attempt to seal his legacy as a “compassionate” President: his pardons, commutations, his final speeches, his BS awards. But as most reasonable Americans recognize, his legacy is already in the $#!++er. It really is unsalvagable and needs to be flushed down.

FAST! Before it stinks up the joint any worse than it already has.

The fact that politicians are being given this award actually takes the recognition the other recipients should be accorded. It demeans and diminishes the purpose to which the award was designed to pay homage.

But isn’t THAT the ultimate Biden Legacy? A diminished man giving out his diminished award? To people with diminished integrity?

What a disgrace!
