And then, today we found out that Biden was finally overthrown from that long-held title, even after he was long past being a Senator. Yes folks. Today, that title was claimed by illinois’ own, Senator Dickie “The Dunce” Durbin.
You see, Dickie The Dunce decided to ask Kash Patel, President Trump’s nominee for FBI Director, "So do you think that America is safer because the 1,600 people have been given an opportunity to come out of serving their sentences and live in our communities again?”
To which, Kash responded with a reference to Biden’s decision in the final hours of his presidency to free Leonard Peltier, a far-left activist convicted in the 1975 murders of two FBI special agents, Ronald Williams and Jack Coler, who were gunned down in a shootout in South Dakota.
“I have always advocated for imprisoning those that cause harm to our law enforcement and civilian communities. I also believe America is not safer because President Biden's commutation of a man who murdered two FBI agents. Agent Coler andi Williams' family deserve better than to have the man that point-blank range fired a shotgun into their heads and murdered them, released from prison. So it goes both ways."
Fox News and others reported that The Dunce tried to spin the Q&A against Patel, but he stood his position, as he replied, "Senator, America will be safe when we don't have 200,000 drug overdoses in two years. America will be safe when we don't have 50 homicides a day."
Looks like we all found out that Dickie The Dunce is even dumber than Joe Biden was in his hey-day. If that were even possible.
So for today, Senator Durbin earned his new title, Dumbest Man In the Senate. And tomorrow, he gets another chance to defend it.
Will Joe be watching?
