She was present at the Ogden Avenue apartment, across from elementary school PS 11, aka the Highbridge School, when ICE, DEA and other DHS agents went in too take Anderson Zambrano-Pacheco, a wanted ringleader of Tren de Aragua into custody.
“We are doing this right, doing exactly what President @realDonaldTrump promised the American people, making our streets safe. Live this AM from NYC. I’m on it,” Noem wrote on X (formerly Twitter) just before 5 AM.
“Dirtbags like this will continue to be removed from our streets,” she added.
If you recall, TdA is the Venezuelan gang which took over an entire building in Aurora, Colorado last year. Apparently, according to the New York Post, Pacheco made his way to the Bronx last summer.
The gangbanger, who sources described as a leader of the vicious Venezuelan gang in Aurora, had a warrant out on him for a slew of charges, including kidnapping, burglary and menacing, in Colorado.
Even if she never went on another raid again, Noem proved she was the proper person to lead DHS more than Alejandro Mayorkas ever would be. But, being the leader she is, she will be there again.
She earned her badge, and the respect of every Agent, two days into her job.
