But it was determined she waited too long and now Brendan Carr, the new FCC chair, reversed it. Ooops!
He announced that the cases against CBS, NBC and ABC will be reactivated. The move means the complaints against the three networks can be adjudicated on their merits.
If you recall, one complaint said ABC News favored Vice President Kamala Harris during the presidential debate, another was about how CBS News' "60 Minutes" edited an interview with Harris, and the third complained about Harris' appearance on "Saturday Night Live" because Trump didn't get equal time.
At present, there is a vacancy on the Commission caused by Rosenworcel’s departure.
Perhaps she knew she made a mistake and sacrificed herself. Or, maybe she did this intentionally so that she would appear to be a good Democrat by dismissing the cases, knowing they would be reversed, due to her error in timing. Who knows except her?
Nevertheless, the cases will be heard and President Trump gets to appoint a commissioner to fill the vacancy. Hurrah!
And another win for ending censorship against the American people is the result.
