A President Who Actually Inspires - And Leads

America had a good day yesterday. We said good-bye to the worst President we ever had in our history, while we said hello again to one of our best.

It was an uplifting day as we watched without the detriment of the news anchors telling us what we were watching. That is one of the benefits of streaming.

The Address was spot-on as he vanquished his predecessor in front of millions of people, and his lackey, as they sat and listened, while Trump basically told them that they failed. Neither had the guts to get up and walk out, because they would have been ridiculed for having thin skin.

Harris sat with a dour look while Biden continually dozed off. Neither stood up at any point during the speech, she because she was annoyed, and he, well….

Afterwards, it seemed both parties’ representatives were happy as President Trump signed several documents, and sat to enjoy the celebratory luncheon as friends, rather than as opponents. The pall of doom which the previous administration cast was lifted and a new day was dawning over our nation’s capital.

The event at the Capital One Arena was emotional as the parents, and other family/friends, of those who were held hostage came out with pictures of their loved ones. The President was gracious as he warmly greeted each person, not looking at his watch as if he had somewhere else to be.

Then, at the press gaggle he held while signing countless executive orders was a masterclass how to interact with the media while still able to maintain his concentration on the task at hand. Not even the savvy Bill Clinton was able to do it as well. And certainly not his three predecessors.

At midnight, he was still at it, firing over 1,000 political appointees on Truth Social, giving them their Official Notice of Dismissal, including General Milley.

It was refreshing to know that unlike his predecessor, who worked from 10 to 4 each day, we now have President who will be on duty eighteen or more hours each day. Just to make sure every "I" is dotted and every "T" is crossed before he shuts off his office light to go home.

Can’t wait to see what Day Two brings!
