Predicting the Obvious

Today is February 22, the long-standing remembrance of George Washington's Birthday, before the advent of the Uniform Monday Holiday Act, Pub.L. 90-363, an act of Congress, which moved many Federal holidays to Monday. But this commentary is not about that law or Washington's Birthday. Instead, this is about a prediction.

I know many in my family and many of my friends, who still support the current occupant of the White House, will tell, or have already told me, that I am wrong for supporting Donald Trump for PresidentBut, I don't care.

I believe he will right the wrongs the current fool, and all the fools before him, has inflicted on our great country. Not since Reagan has the American people been this energized for a better day in America.

The idiots who claim to be informed because they are in the media, know less about understanding the psyche of the great Silent Majority than someone who doesn't know where that term originated. Why? It's because they are know-nothing elitists.

Donald Trump is resonating because the majority of the American people are sick and tired of the lies the so-called leaders of both major parties have told to us for years, reneging on those promises, to instead, pay off obligations owed to lobbyists, donors and the corrupt money peddlers who buy the candidates of both parties. People like Soros, Steyer and the Koch brothers.

Donald Trump is doing it the old-fashioned way, putting HIS money where his mouth is. He is taking no money from any entity and will be beholden to no one. Yes, he and his campaign are selling hats, tee shirts and other artifacts. But, from what I have seen, nothing costs more than $25. Not the millions which would make him obligated to special interests. He will be obligated to only one group - you and me, the American electorate.

In order for him to win the nomination, he will need 1,237 total delegates which is 50% plus 1By March 15, over 1500 delegates will have been chosen by the voters.

I believe and I predict that by that date, Donald Trump will have won 800 or more delegates, which puts him at two thirds of the number necessary to win the nomination. After that date, he WILL RUN the table, because the obvious will have crystallized in the minds of the voters, who will vote for him, so they can say they voted for a winner.

As for the general election, Donald Trump will defeat the Democrat Party candidate, by margins not seen since the Reagan landslides. People are tired of both parties' has-beens and wannabees. Too bad no one in the media yet understands this. The Establishment is done.

Trump is no longer the leading voice in a movement. He is the leader of a 21st Century revolution, the likes we may never see again.

A Democrat Woman's Response to Madeline Albright and Gloria Steinem's Sexist Comments

I sent this to my friend, Carrie, who happens to be a registered Democrat, for her to review and comment, as is my want.

This is her unedited response for you to digest and understand that not all Democrat woman march in lockstep with female sexists as the mainstream media would have you believe.

Excellent!!

It seems to me that there is a certain type of woman who would support Hillary, but obviously not the kind of women who live in New Hampshire!!

Most of the women I know abhor her. These are average women who are not really into politics. Generally speaking, they don't see her as a "woman" at all, at least not a woman such as themselves. She comes across to them as an alien, a kind of mutant crossbreed.  Remember John Grey's book Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus?   Many women see her not as coming from Venus, like us, but not exactly coming from Mars, either.

As you know, Frank, despite my feminine demeanor, I am a feminist in many ways. I support equal rights for women, equal pay and job opportunities, etc. I think women need to be well-educated and independent.  Nothing makes me want to puke more than a whiny, dependent woman who does nothing to stand up for herself and make her own way in the world.

Where I differ from people who call themselves "feminists" is on the issue of abortion. I am utterly and completely opposed to abortion on demandabortion as a form of birth control, etc. I concede there are medical circumstances that might lead to the loss of a baby's life’ but to deliberately abort a child is an anathema to me.

I think many, possibly most, women who support Hillary are women who would have abortions, who world put their careers over their families, etc. Women who are like her or who want to be like her.

I don't think many "traditional" women, who make up the majority of American females, support Hillary or her values.

It takes a gutsy woman to leave a philandering husbandtake up her own life and make something of herself on her own.  Hillary could easily have done this. However, for a woman to really take charge of her own life, it takes personality traits she lacks: honor, courage, things like that, things Hillary does not seem to have.

In a way Hillary, Albright and Steinem are insulting American women by demanding we all support Hillary because she is a woman. They say we all have to stick together.  That is utter nonsense. It contradicts all their assertions that women are equal to men.

If women are equal to men, and we are, then it shouldn't matter if a candidate is male or female. It shouldn't matter if the voter is male or female. All that really matters is that the electorate votes for the best PERSON for the job.

The candidate's sex should have nothing to do with it.

There you have it, folks. As always, your comments are always welcomed.

Apparently, the NFL and CBS Promote and Condone Racism

I wonder what would happen if idiot racists like Beyonce and her jerkweed husband had to provide and pay for their own security to perform their anti-police, hateful crap they and their idiot fans call music?

Would they scream "racism" if the Baltimore Police said, "screw you, bitch" when she goes there to perform later this month?

It is about time, especially in this month as we remember Black History, that the racism of Beyonce and Obama and Sharpton has destroyed all the gains made in this country since the Civil Rights battles of the 1960s, and the martyrdom of Rev Martin Luther King Jr.

I am sick and tired of Black Lives Matter and other anti-white movements in this country. I believe ALL Lives Matter black lives, white lives, Asian lives, Latino lives - and anyone who promotes one over another is a pathetic, racist, bigot, son of a bitch. That includes the hateful man in the White House now.

His job is supposed to bring us together, you know, promote the general welfare. Instead, he has promulgated the biggest division of the people in this country since the Civil War. He is, by all accounts a true racist, one who Dr King would castigate if he were alive.

Sheriff Clarke had the balls to make the comments he did and he is being demonized by the Obama - led racist crowd, being called all kinds of disgusting names. Hey, Obama, I guess you agree with these @$$holes.

And the NFL? I think Roger Goodell owes an apology to the fans for this disgraceful display of hate on the field of its milestone game. Did he not get a preview, even in writing, what the content of the show would be? If you didn't, Roger, you are a Dumb@$$.

As for CBS, they should have bleeped the entire halftime show, for its hateful and racist performance by this racist. If you have the nerve to bleep people in your regular programming for offensive language and gestures, then what the hell did you think this was? Oh, that's right... ratings, dollars, and a blind eye.

Ironically, it was CBS who broadcast the Janet Jackson "wardrobe malfunction" on February 1, 2004. People were enraged because her nipple was exposed for a few seconds. People should be more so enraged now because for twenty minutes, HATE was broadcast into the living rooms of 320 MILLION Americans who had no recourse but to either watch this racist display or turn the channel.

As for me, I will be sending this commentary to the NFL Offices in New York. What can you do? Call the NFL at 212-450-2000 and express your displeasure to them for condoning this hate - filled display during their presentation. They take credit before and after each televised event. Therefore, they condoned this racist, hateful, anti-police display on their show.

Going forward, I will continue to speak out against the NFL unless Roger Goodell apologizes for this display of hate on his show.

This past Tuesday, my cousin's daughter passed away. She was not yet 49.

I had written about her once before in my commentary from September 24, 2013 called Living With CancerShe was a brave, strong and gallant fighter, who by all measures never should have gotten this far.

Ultimately, the cause of death will probably be pneumonia because that was her final reason for her hospitalization. But those of us who knew this determined woman saw her suffer through untold bouts of cancer in so many parts of her body, ingesting chemotherapy like most of us drink ice tea.

Thankfully, when she passed, she was surrounded by her family and others who witnessed every terrible day she lived with this scourge. She was able to make some decisions at the end which many of us would not have the courage to make. She was able to pass on her own terms, bravely and, finally, at peace.

Kerri touched all of us throughout her life, even those who did not know her very well. This woman was diagnosed with cancer the first time over twenty years ago, and when she beat it back then, she had an epiphany to do God's work by working in the Oncology field to help others through their own personal scourges.

I can tell you as one presently in remission that watching her struggle and her battle gave me the courage to face my own scourge. I was going through chemo when I first found out that she had cancer again and I saw how bravely she faced it. Trust me, I prayed I could be half as brave as she was.

Kerri is now, finally, out of pain and sickness and trauma. She has suffered more than anyone else I ever knew who had cancer. She has paid her way a thousand times over to no longer be ravaged with this horrible and dreadful way to live.

I believe she is our beautiful Angel in Heaven, sitting at the table of goodness and plenty with her dear grandparents, who saw much of her suffering while they were alive. I am sure they suffered watching her from above, as well.

Kerri, you were taken much too young and yet, it was time for you to finally go and be no longer in pain. You touched us in ways you could not know while you were here, but you are now where you will be for all eternity. You will touch us always and forever.

May you and all our deceased loved ones Rest In Peace. Amen.

The Best of Us for the Rest of Us?

Rand Paul, Rick Santorum and Mike Huckabee have suspended their campaigns for the Republican nomination and Martin O'Malley suspended his for the Democrat nomination. Smart men all.
Iowa doesn't necessarily pick the winners, but it has a unique way to make losers see their futilty.
Now it is time for several others to see the light. Jeb? Kasich? Christie? Gilmore? Carly? Your quest was honorable, but now it is time to walk away.
So, the Republican candidates left should be Trump, Cruz, Rubio and Carson. This has been for weeks what the polls have shown. And Iowa solidified it, at least for the New Hampshire and South Carolina primaries, and the Nevada caucus. Then, it will be time to get it down to the final three.
For the Democrats, the inevitable contest between a self-described Socialist and an unaccomplished, potential criminal are the choices. Good luck with THAT.
The bottom line is this: the next month or so will settle the 2016 final nominees in each party because thirty six states and territories will have primaries or caucuses between now and March 15. Some of the larger states with huge delegate counts, and "winner take all" states are included.
It is time to buckle up and start the big slide down to the end of the primary season and see who is left to lead us through the election and to 2017Hold on tight, because here we go. Are you ready?

The American people are.
