99 Senators out of 99 present voted for him, since he did not vote for himself.
It was reported by Reuters today that SecState Rubio achieved another win on his first overseas trip to Latin America. He has convinced Guatemalan President Bernardo Arevalo to increase the number of his countrymen to repatriate by an additional 40% over current repatriations.
Rubio, speaking at a press conference alongside Arevalo following their meeting in Guatemala City, said the US would also support the Central American country's efforts to return people not from Guatemala to their homeland.
"His willingness to accept not just nationals but those from other nationalities as they seek to ultimately return to their own homelands is also important, and we've pledged our support with those efforts," Rubio said.
The Secretary has also made an agreement with El Salvador to take other countries’ criminal nationals and even the serious criminal Americans, if need be.
He also had Panama agree to end its relationship with China with regard to the Canal Zone. And in his spare time, he will supervise the USAID.
Way to go, Mr Secretaryl
