On To the League Championship Series

The Mets have reached the third plateau. They are going to the West Coast to play either the Padres or the Dodgers on Sunday. In the NLCS.

Tonight's game was a nailbiter until Francisco Lindor came up with the bases loaded with one out in the sixth inning. The Phillies had been leading 1 to 0, when BOOM! Suddenly, the game momentum changed. And Lindor proved to be the game MVP.

With nine outs to go, Peterson, who had relieved Quintana, stepped it up and was relieved by Diaz in the ninth.

It was magical, as Peterson got the win Diaz got the save. It was the flip from last Thursday, when Diaz got the win and Peterson got the save against the Brewers.

The National League Championship Series is a best-of-seven, and the Mets will get to play again in Citifield. To think, the Mets have reached the third plateau. They are going to the West Coast to play either the Padres or the Dodgers on Sunday.
