Pumpkins scream in the dead of night
This is Halloween, everybody make a scene
This is from to the theme song of the movie, The Nightmare Before Christmas. And today, kids all over will be singing this song because today IS Halloween!
Dressing up as ghosts, goblins or even Spiderman or Cinderella has been a tradition even when I was a kid. And when you were, too!
So get your sacks ready to have them filled with candy, crayons, money, whatever. Schools get into it, too, with Trunk or Treat. That is where parents come to make sure every child gets a treat.
It is just a fun day to be a kid. Isn’t it?
Don’t be like Linus sitting in the pumpkin patch, waiting for the Great Pumpkin to appear, because, sadly, he won’t. And hopefully, you won’t be unlucky like Charlie Brown and get a rock.
