The Failure of One Man

.So, after a bit of time off to deal with some health issues, I am back. 

First up, I want talk about the failure of that idiot from New York who is intent on destroying President Trump while proving his own incompetence. He thought he could convince the other Democrats to follow him blindly to the “Promised Land” by telling the lie about saving health care in America.

Well, after forty-plus days, the more intelligent Senators finally realized that shutting down the government was NOT  going to win over the Republicans or the American people. 

Airlines were cancelling flights, government employees and military were not getting paid, and those people dependent on SNAP benefits were not going to be able to possibly eat or feed their children.

Not a great look for what the Democrat Party stood for. It was because Schumer wanted to stick it to Trump. And he failed. Miserably.

And last night, the dumbest of the dumb continued to rail on about the travesty of the Republicans, when in reality, the Democrats proved they were not on board for representing their own constituents. Rather, they cited that the agreement reached to reopen the government would be harmful to their pet project, Obamacare.

Instead, the agreement would remove the largesse paid to insurance companies, and by extension, to their own campaign war-chests, and be paid directly to the AMERICAN citizens who need it most.

This process proved to the rest of us that the Democrats, led by Schumer, Jeffries and the progressive left, is no longer the party of JFK, FDR or Truman. Or even Jimmy Carter before he lost his way.

Late yesterday, after the House passed the CR voted on by the Senate, the  President signed the legislation, noting that many of the provisions were good through only January 30, while others would be effective through September. Basically, a short reprieve until we do it all again.

Perhaps, this time, Schumer and the Democrats will have learned a lesson  and work FOR Americans instead of illegals. It certainly was not a good look for them.

Maybe, it is time for Schumer to admit he screwed up and almost destroyed the Democrats in his revenge-play.
