The Epstein Fiasco

It has gone on too long. When he allegedly committed suicide in the Metropolian Correctional Center in New York City, it was deemed by many to be suspicious and unbelievable. After all, the security cameras failed to be working and the guards seemed to be missing or asleep at the same time.

On Wednesday last week, the House Oversight Committee released more than 20,000 pages of documents provided by Epstein’s estate.

In the emails, Epstein, who was found dead on August 10, 2019, in his Manhattan jail cell while awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking charges, insisted that Trump was fully aware of his practice of grooming and sexually abusing girls as young as 14.

“Of course he knew about the girls as he asked Ghislaine to stop,” Epstein told discredited author Michael Wolff in a January 31, 2019, email, referring to his accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell’s practice of recruiting victims from the spa at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort.

The following day, Epstein wrote in an email to himself that while “Trump knew of it. and came to my house many times during that period,” the future commander-in-chief “never got a massage.”

Considering that the Democrats controlled the Justice Department for four years, AND the amount of time and effort they spent trying to destroy Donald Trump with unsubstantiated and disproven charges, if there were any truth to allegations that Trump were a participant in Epstein’ debauchery, they certainly would have revealed every bit of it during the period of Biden’s term. But they didn’t.

Now, President Trump has decided to call the Democrats’ bluff. The president announced Friday that he would ask the Department of Justice and FBI to investigate the financier’s “involvement and relationship with Bill Clinton, Larry Summers, Reid Hoffman, J.P. Morgan, Chase, and many other people and institutions, to determine what was going on with them, and him.”

Knowing that there is a chance that many powerful Democrats and other notable figures could be implicated in this perverse practice of depravity, we may finally learn the extent of the hold Jeffrey Epstein had over so many participants who visited his private island.

And the disgrace and shame of these actions will be far-reaching beyond anyone’s imagination.
