It appears that Krazy Kat, the Governor of New York, has taken off her mask and has decided she will assist Commie Mamdani in his quest to blow up the Greatest City in the World. She has announced that she will raise taxes on corporations to fund his socialist agenda.
The result? A continued mass exodus to states more in line with free enterprise, like Florida and Texas. Soon, even the rich will leave the Empire State, leaving the poor to fend for themselves.
But at least they will shop for groceries at city-run stores. With no food on the shelves.
Hochul, who is up for re-election in 2026, is sticking to her vow to not hit high-earners with higher taxes, but has had preliminary conversations about raising revenue by upping the corporate tax rate, according to Politico, which first reported the story.
The hike would help fill the more than $4 billion budget gap facing the state next year and cover some of the costs associated with Mamdani’s socialist dream in the Big Apple once he becomes mayor.
The attack on her policies by both Bruce Blakeman and Elise Stefanik, her main opponents in next year’s Governor election, is expected to be a common refrain from the right as she he heads into what could be a bruising general election in 2026 after endorsing proudly socialist Mamdani in the mayoral race.
Mamdani has called for jacking up the corporate tax from 7.5% to 11.5% to match the rate in New Jersey. And Krazy Kat is looking to go along with this.
She is signing on to the destruction of the City. And doesn’t seem to care.
