What is Speculation? And What is Reality?

How is this for speculation? The media, the internet and even “out there” pundits have been reporting for a while that the Bidens and Donald Trump are at least making nice. Rumors like this are circulating because of several “sublimal” messages:

- Joe Biden wore a MAGA cap on September 11 in Pennsylvania

- Jill wore a red dress on Election Day when she voted

- Biden invited Trump to the White House days after Trump won

Now, in another speculative act, Jill Biden and Donald Trump appeared to have a cordial conversation at the Notre Dame ceremony. Why this additional speculation? Can’t two former “adversaries” be nice and respectful to each other?

From first-hand experience, having met the pre-presidential Donald Trump, he was a decent and respectful person who seemed to be considerate of others. Why wouldn’t he be the same in a non-political setting as this event was?

The media and his detractors portray him as a bully, bombastic, rude and obnoxious. But he really isn’t. Instead, he is a determined, focused individual who will fight for his principles.

Like anyone raised in Queens, New York.

And he is not stupid nor a buffoon. Not by a long shot. Instead, privately, he is a smart, self-actualized man, not needing to show off what he knows. Unlike another recent, and now irrelevant, president.

So, accept the man for what he is. Apparently, Jill Biden does. And she really seemed to genuinely like him.

And, suddenly, the rest of the world does, too.
