Disgusting Endorsements

During World War II, thousands of American Christian and Jewish men and women died to save European Jews from extinction by European anti-Semites and the Nazis who professed hatred for Jews generally. 

And since then, we believed in the concept of “Never Again” as it applied to all attempts at genocide. Whether it applied to Jews or others.

 

So, it is astounding to see the rise of anti-Semitism so flagrant in the United States, and especially, among Jewish descendants, directly or not, of the Holocaust. 

Unless they are Jewish as it suits their purposes, like taking the Jewish holidays off from work or school.

Otherwise, known as Jewish In Name Only. Like Schumer, or Sanders, or Nadler, or Wasserman Shultz, or Blumenthal, or Bloomberg. Or so many others.

So, today, it was announced that a coalition of Jewish leaders is pushing other Jewish Democrats in office to get behind Socialist and anti-Semite Zohran Mamdani for Mayor of New York, hoping to cash in on their fears of being primaried by similarly Democratic Socialists of America-backed candidates next year if they don’t rally around their party’s Israel-bashing nominee, so many have said.

The “Jews for Zohran” offensive to win over Jewish pols includes Mamdani’s top Jewish surrogates, city Comptroller Brad Lander and Representative Jerry Nadler, sources additionally told the media.

Nadler, the dean of the New York House delegation, first elected to the House in 1992, and who represents much of Manhattan, endorsed Mamdani after he won the primary. He is the first, but not the obly, nor the last.

Senate Democratic Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, a Brooklynite and the highest-ranking Jew in Congress, congratulated Mamdani but has yet to endorse him. Neither has Representative Dan Goldman, who represents Lower Manhattan and brownstone Brooklyn. But they will.

It actually is disgusting.

But then, once again, Hitler had Jews in Nazi Germany and elsewhere in Europe who went out of their way to support his crimes. With nary any remorse.
