The Documents Case is Dismissed
It was reported by Newsmax and other outlets on Tuesday evening that the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals agreed to dismiss the documents case against President-Elect Donald Trump. Special Prosecutor Jack Clarke had requested this on Monday.
However, he has indicated he will pursue the case against Trump's two co-defendents, his valet Walt Nauta, and Mar-a-Lago property manager Carlos De Oliveira.
This is ridiculous. Clark has indicated he will retire before Donald Trump is sworn in. Does he think he will have completed the trial and won a conviction beforehand? What if he loses? All this to be a winner over people who had nothing to gain.
And once Trump is sworn in, would he not negate the entire event by granting them each a pardon for their past faithfulness and loyalty? A reasonable person would agree he would.
So why is Clark grandstanding at this late hour? To win points with the media? The DNC? Who then?
It is time for Jack Clark to come to his senses and drop it all. If nothing else, than to save himself embarrassment and the government additional unnecessary expenses.
That would serve justice for everyone.
