End the Vulgarity in Iran

When will it stop? The regime is so paranoid that it is executing its future teachers and scientists in a warped belief that they are “committing sins against God.”

Erfan Shakourzadeh, 29, was hanged at dawn after being convicted of stealing classified satellite information from the scientific organization where he worked, Iranian state media reported. He was a promising graduate student at the University of Science and Technology in Tehran studying aerospace engineering.

The regime had accused Erfan of funneling details on satellite activities to the CIA and the Mossad. One of the many reasons to be a claim of “a sin against God”, a true blasphemy.

Shakourzadeh was arrested in February last year and forced into making a confession, according to the Iran Human Rights Society. He later retracted that forced confession just prior to his execution, according to the human rights group.

Shakourzadeh, who is the fifth person executed since the war broke out in February, spent nine months in solitary confinement where he suffered “severe physical and psychological torture,” the group added.

The IRGC, the Mullahs and those who support their cruel, barbaric, uncivilized form of “justice” have no regard for human life. Even those in the US, the EU and other parts of the world who ignore this demonic behavior are as guilty as those who actually commit these genocidal crimes.

The NAZIS in the 1930s and 1940s gave a basic lesson in holocaustic behavior, but the Islamic Regime brought it to a whole other, unspeakable level. It is truly reprehensible, despicable and repugnant.

Any agreement which allows the theocracy to continue unabated only condones this deplorable, satanic behavior by the regime. It is time to completely eliminate the IRGC and remove forever the theocracy from the face of the earth.0

And end the cruelty in Iran as it returns to a civilized society governed by freedom-loving people.

A Potential Strike Could Come on Long Island

The Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) is considered the largest and busiest railroad in North America by volume. It  serves over 100MM passengers annually and connects Long Island with New York City.

Key features of note:

  • Ridership: As of early 2026, it carries approximately 336,300 passengers per weekday.
  • Capacity: The system operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with 11 branches over 700 miles of track.
  • Key Hubs: It serves Penn Station and the Grand Central Madison terminal.
  • Distinction: The LIRR is the oldest commuter railroad in the US (founded 1834) that still operates under its original name.
  • Competition: It frequently holds the title of largest over other major systems like Metro-North Railroad and NJ Transit.

Presently, five LIRR unions representing 3,500 workers are threatening a strike for May 16, 2026, over failed contract negotiations involving wage increases. Workers seek raises to match the high cost of living, while the MTA argues LIRR employees are already the nation's highest-paid, offering proposals that unions dismiss as "gimmicks".

And while MTA Chairman Janno Lieber stated that progress is being made and that a strike would be "crazy," unions maintain that a massive wage gap remains.

The cost for a ticket can range from $5.25 to $49.00 for a one-way ticket, depending on the time of day and the zone. And a monthly ticket will range from $172 to $488, depending on time and zone.

No matter whether the employees strike Friday at midnight, the end result will be an increase in the fare. And a strike will become a nightmare for “Dashing Dan” and “Dashing Danielle” who need to find other means to get to work.

The LIE and the parkways will become parking lots and for those who work in Manhattan, additional fees for “congestion pricing” will be paid should they drive in. And the higher cost for gas is no help, either.

The federal government intervened to prevent an immediate Long Island Rail Road strike last year, with actions extending into 2026. President Trump established a Presidential Emergency Board (PEB) to review contract disputes between unions and the MTA, initiating a "cooling-off" period that delayed potential work stoppages. But now, unless tte Department of Transportation and/or President Trump intervenes again, the strike WILL happen.

The last time the LIRR experienced a strike, OJ was in a car chase in Southern California, the World Cup kicked off in Chicago and the Rangers won the Stanley Cup. That was all on the same day in June, 1994.

For the sake of all the commuters, let’s hope the strike will be averted.

Why It Is Time to End the Filibuster

Simply defined, filibuster is a United States Senate procedural tactic used by the minority party to delay or block a vote on legislation by extending debate indefinitely. It forces a 60-vote threshold (cloture) to end debate and move to a final vote, effectively creating a supermajority requirement for most legislation.

Recently, much discussion has taken place over the necessity for continuing this older parliamentary maneuver in the US Senate.  Traditionally, the use of the filibuster has shown the Senate to be more deliberative on matters of importance, protecting the rights of the minority, and having specific rules on which to end a filibuster.

But, as witnessed by us recently with the shutdowns of the government by the Democrats in October, for forty-three days over the overall budget, and by the Democrats, again, in February for seventy-six days over funding for Homeland Security, and in both cases delaying salary and benefits to employees, it has been revealed to be a weapon against Americans. Yet Members of Congress and their staffs continued to be paid.

Now, once again, the Democrats in the Senate, led by Charles Schumer, have threatened to invoke the filibuster again in order to defeat the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act, often referred to as the SAVE America Act, which has passed several times in the House of Representatives. This is a law in which is supported overwhelmingly by Americans, across all racial and political persuasions.

The Act is a major federal legislative proposal focused on tightening voter registration requirements for US federal elections.

Yet, less than FIFTY men and women refuse to support something that over seventy-five percent of American citizens want. This isn’t Democracy, which the Democrats claim to favor. Instead, it is the tyranny of the few in this country who would rather stand for illegals’ “rights” than for Americans.

This is actually abuse of power which dictators do all the time. Or is it really “abusive power”?

Senator Schumer has terrorized Democrats to fall in line with his petulant, controlling, Un-American mindset or they will be politically punished, especially should Democrats be elected into the majority in the Senate again. This is truly undemocratic to its core.

The American filibuster is 220 years old and was created in 1806, when the Senate removed the "previous question" motion (which allowed a simple majority to end debate), inadvertently creating the potential for indefinite stalling. But the abuse is nothing more than a tantrum by a minorty to get what it wants. Like a spoiled child.

It is time to end the filibuster. NOW!

Happy Birthday 1951

The primary, traditional gemstone associated with a 75th birthday (often termed a "Diamond Jubilee" birthday) is the DIAMONDDiamonds symbolize timelessness, longevity, and strength, making them the classic choice for this significant milestone, mirroring the 75th wedding anniversary.

Those of us born in 1951 are in the midst of celebrating this monumental occasion.

We have seen much change in American society, beginning with having a television in our home, to the Space Race, to the Moon landing (and all that technology which resulted). We saw computers as big as gymnasiums to the one we hold in our hand.

We witnessed the automobile  go from a two door coupe, to the T-Bird, the Corvette and the Mustang. We went from gas-guzzling Cadillacs and Lincolns, to the inefficient Celebrity and station wagons. We saw the change in our driving habits with SUVs and electric cars and trucks.

We saw phones go from the one on our kitchen wall, to the one we carry in our pocket. Our bank was one where we needed to visit to make a deposit, to one where we send an electronic/digital image to our account.

We went from waiting for days on line to see a first-run movie to ordering it on our TV or digital device. We have gone from spending hours on Saturday to buy a product or groceries, to ordering from the comfort of our home, even late at night, and have it delivered later in the day or the next day.

And we have seen so many other advances, which are too numerous to mention. We can only imagine what our children and grandchildren will witness as they achieve this sought after milestone.

Anyway, for those of us who.are sharing this amazing birthday, I wish each of us a Very Happy and Incredible Birthday and pray for another reasonably healthy year!

CBS Changing Its Late Night Programming

Stephen Colbert recently revealed he sent a note of congratulations to Byron Allen after CBS announced that "The Late Show" will be replaced by the producer's show "Comics Unleashed."

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter published May 6, the late-night host reacted to news that "Comics Unleashed," a comedy talk show created by Allen, will take over the 11:35PM time slot on CBS immediately after "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" ends later this month.

CBS is leasing the time slot to Allen, who noted to The Los Angeles Times last year the economics of "Comics Unleashed" are appealing to the network because he covers the production costs. "It's not cheaper," he told the Los Angeles Times. "It's zero." In April, Paramount TV Media chair George Cheeks told reporters CBS is still developing other late-night ideas, but the one-year deal with Allen allows the network "to go into immediate profitability in that slot," according to Variety

David Letterman was the first host of The Late Show, which began in August, 1993. He successfully hosted the show until May 20, 2015, when Colbert took over

Last July, it was revealed that Colbert’s contract would not be renewed after several years of declining ad revenue and upwards of $40MM in annual losses. Even in television, money talks and losses walk.

A lot of these losses are allegedly caused by the increasing evidence of TDS every night that Colbert displays. It is immediately evident in his declining nightly ratings

His departure was announced prior to the Skydance Media acquisition of Paramount/Viacom, CBS and all other related media properties. But it is believed the deal never would have been completed had his contract still was in play. And Shari Redstone agreed to that deal in order to realize an $8BB windfall.

Once again, money talks and losers walk.

The new owner of CBS, Paramount Skydance, is owned by the Ellison Family, chaired by David Ellison and has already begun cleaning the house of long-time woke ideologies, even in its news division. And Byron Allen is on a short leash, with a one year contract.

His contract covers both the 11:35 and 12:35 overnight time slots. In addition, CBS is using this year to create immediate profitability while developing other longer-term plans for late-night programming.

Meanwhile, Allen has a year to make CBS, and the rest of us, forget the disaster Stephen Colbert made with his unfunny lack of humor.

Ted Turner, Media Maven

Almost forty-six years ago, CNN (Cable News Network) was founded by Ted Turner and launched on June 1, 1980, as the world's first 24-hour all-news television channel. Based in Atlanta, Georgia, it revolutionized news broadcasting by offering continuous coverage, starting with around 1.7MM subscribers and growing into a global media staple.

And for years, the voice of CNN was legendary actor, James Earl Jones. He brought an unmistakeable sense of assuredness, with his deep, calm baritone voice as he announced, “This is CNN”, as the logo filled your TV screens.

Turner’s life work included founding Turner Broadcasting System, which housed cable channels TNT, TBS and Cartoon Network, as well as Turner Classic Movies. He also formerly owned the Atlanta Braves and other sports enterprises.

He was known for his brash, outspoken personality and thin mustache; also was a philanthropist, founding the United Nations Foundation; a bison rancher and conservationist; a yacht collector; and a political activist.

Ted was an intensely involved and committed leader, intrepid, fearless and always willing to back a hunch and trust his own judgement. He was and always will be the presiding spirit of CNN,” Mark Thompson, chairman and CEO of CNN Worldwide, said in a statement Wednesday.

Ted is the giant on whose shoulders we stand, and we will all take a moment today to recognize him and his impact on our lives and the world.”

Turner’s network proved itself during the Persian Gulf War in 1991, when it was the sole US network to broadcast a live, unedited feed from Baghdad as bombs illuminated the sky.

Its live coverage of the fall of the Berlin Wall, the Chinese student protests in Tiananmen Square and the space shuttle Challenger explosion further solidified it as a dominant source of world news for Americans.

When Turner sold it in 1996, CNN began a long trek down to wokeness, ultimately becoming as disrespected as MS NOW and other left-leaning media enterprises. Even though the sale of CNN and other properties netted a $7.37BB windfall to him, he later said  it was a regret and the “worst day of my life .”

He had revealed just before his 80th birthday that he had Lewy Body Dementia, a neurological disorder that causes dementia and muscle failure, and was reportedly in a rehab center in early 2025 after a bout of pneumonia.

But, obviously, it finally got to him. He was 87.

Anti-Semitism Rears Its Ugliness Again

It is Spring and renewal is in the air. Trees and flowers are reborn, plans are starting to be made for summer vacations, and soon enough, warmer weather will be felt, washing away the extreme cold of this past winter.

Oh… and anti-semitism has made its presence known again on New York streets and campuses.

hateful mob of keffiyeh-clad anti-Israel protesters flooded the streets near a historic Manhattan synagogue Tuesday night, clashing with cops as they repeatedly shouted “Israel should not exist.”

About one hundred agitators waving Palestinian flags and banging drums swarmed about a half-block from Park East Synagogue, chanting “Palestine will never die” and “Stop the sale of stolen land” during an event promoting real estate in Israel and the West Bank.

Police yelled “step back” as they shoved the unruly crowd onto the sidewalk, video shows, while counter-protesters rallied nearby.

And of course, Mayor Zohran Mamdani has remained silent  on this latest outbreak of anti-semitism, while a buffer zone bill, which prevents protests around religious buildings and institutions, went into effect in April.

But the brazen hatred of anti-semitic demonstrators is emboldened by the obvious anti-semitism of the New York Mayor. And his inaction in this type of protest activities makes the NYPD’s job more difficult, resulting in greater chance for injuries.

If one thinks this Mayor cares about the law,  you are sadly mistaken. His agenda to support pro-Palestine, anti-Israel activities is evident in his actions and his speech. This motivates the rampant anti-semitic fever to gain acceptance by Democrats, Letists and Socialists without regard to any rights for Jewish people and their supporters.

Until he and the DSA are forced to obey the law, this hatred will continue unabated, leading to more wanton violence and potential unnecessary death.

You can count on it.

Recognizing 2026 Is a Mets Disaster

It has been just six weeks since the start of the 2026 season and the Mets are about to call it a season. This probably is one the earliest times in recent history that it was apparent even to loyal, long-suffering fans that this team has no real hope for a rebound.

The team has had its share of injuries, as some of the most essential players are down. And will be out for quite some time.

They have won only four of their last ten games, and have won a total of twelve games of the thirty-four they have played. It truly does not bode well for even a .500 season.

Other than the upcoming Yankee series during the next homestand, the 40th anniversary of the 1986 World Series, the Mets Hall of Fame Inductees game and the Carlos Beltran Number retirement game, as it stands right now, the other promotional games are not much to spend a week’s pay to see this team while you enjoy a ten dollar hot dog and a twenty dollar beer. Is it?

I know some people who are already selling tickets to games in their season  packages, just so they don’t have to endure the pain of watching the Team That Stearns Destroyed in person. Instead, they can suffer this debacle from the comfort of their living rooms. And not feel guilty shutting it off.

Steve Cohen, who is a life-long fan like me, may need to rethink several things going forward. First, he needs to stop criticizing the fans on X. It doesn’t help his image at all.

Then, he needs to re-evaluate what needs to be addressed as he prepares for next season, since getting a handle on that will give him a leg up to put a better team on the field. And third, he needs to get rid of the “boy wonder”, who still thinks like a small market executive, as he proves he knows very little about evaluating talent.

New York writers, who are generally very knowledgeable, have been too diplomatic by letting Stearns grin-fxxk his way for too long. He actually was seen smiling and laughing during the twelve-game losing streak.

Sadly, the “Cohen promise” of achieving a World Series championship within his first five years will not be realized this year. Or in the next two years, either.

Instead, knowledgeable fans already recognize it is time to blow it all up and  start the rebuilding now. And start it by getting a real general manager, not one so concerned with a fancy title.

And as always: Let’s Go Mets!

New York Tries to Move Closer to Complete Anarchy

Two of ths most notorious killers in both New York and American history could be released soon from life in prison should the woke mob, led by Governor Krazy Kat Hochul and her leftist ideologues in the New York State legislature,  manage to pass their legislation.

These two woke bills, called the Elder Parole Bill and the Fair and Timely Parole Bill, would separately give both Mark David Chapman, John Lennon's assassin, and David Berkowitz, the Son of Sam serial killer, multiple avenues to gain release  from further prison time. Each bill allows ALL prisoners, provided they meet the criteria, the opportunity to walk free.

So could Long Island Railroad massacre gunman Colin Ferguson, who killed six passengers and wounded nineteen in a 1993 shooting. And so many others who committed heinous crimes would be able to benefit from these ill-conceived ideas.

The Elder Parole bill would let violent criminals dodge theirk minimum sentences, regardless of how heinous their crimes, and be granted early parole hearings after they’ve turned fifty-five and served fifteen years of their sentences.

The Fair and Timely Parole bill would require the state parole board to release convicts regardless of the severity of their crimes unless they are a “current” danger to the public.

These amount to "Get Out Of Jail Free" bills, giving leftist ludges, attorneys and parole boards every "legal option" to manipulate the system and overrule the rights of victims and their families, whose sense of justice is now removed.

In addition, every two years, victims’ families would be dragged back to the parole board to fight against the release of their loved one’s killer. This forces them to cruelly revisit the pain they suffered, as if their loss only just occurred once again.

The legislation makes it much easier for jailbirds to be set free provided they’re model prisoners, no matter how bloodthirsty their crime.

Presumptive Republican gubernatorial candidate Bruce Blakeman said he vehemently opposes the bills and accused Hochul of pushing for the release of killers. You know he is not wrong; Krazy Kat has, for years, as every other liberal, Socialist  and Democrat, supported cashless bail, no arrest, and every other leftist ideal which takes away the protections of victims' rights in favor of the accused.

If either or both these bills were to pass, the rights of victims, their sense of justice, and the complete collapse of the criminal justice system would follow.

All to satisfy the leftists' goals to protect the rights of criminals, while sacrificing the protections society in general expects.

The Sick, Dark Sound of Silence in Iran

Hello darkness, my old friend
I've come to talk with you again - Paul Simon

It is baffling how people can be so blind to the unwarranted barbarism which is still occurring even after the world has become so aware of the torture and ongoing executions Iranian citizens still endure. Do you not care?

The barbaric Iranian regime reportedly tortured a dad to death for the high crime of using the internet, and abused and executed a twenty-one-year-old karate champ for merely attending a protest.

News of Hesam Alaeddin’s death, a forty-year-old father of two, was reported by Reza Pahlavi, the exiled son of the last shah of Iran, and spread across shocked posts on social media. Because he used Starlink after February 28.

The brutal and criminal regime of the Islamic Republic killed Hesam Alaeddin under torture after he was reportedly arrested for using Starlink,” Pahlavi wrote on X on Friday. “For 62 days, this regime has shut down the internet and continues to massacre Iranian people. The world cannot stay silent.”

Outraged posts about Alaeddin’s death spread across social media, with the Independent Persian also reporting on the murder.

That reality includes violence similar to what happened in January, when nearly 40,000 people were killed while participating in protests against the regime.

Stories of ongoing executions have filled the headlines throughout the Iran war, even after the ceasefire with the US started April 7.

Among those also recently executed was Sassan Azadvar Joonqani, a twenty-one-year-old karate champion who was hung until dead Thursday for “effective cooperation with the enemy” and “enmity against God,” Euro news reported.

His "crime" was merely attending a protest in January, where authorities claimed he attacked a police car, though a lawyer assigned to Joonqani argued there was no evidence of that.

Joonqani was arrested January 8, and was tortured physically and psychologically until he made a confession which led to his execution, according to Euro News.

He was just one of numerous Iranians murdered in a similar fashion.

It is stunning that Leftsts and Democrats scream and shout over President Trump “violating” the UNCONSTITUTIONAL War Powers Act, while ignoring the inhumane torture and brutality of modern-day NAZIS who have overtaken and occupied a peaceful country, hijacked a religion, and blasphemed God by committing murder in His name. And say nothing as they look away.

It is time  for someone, anyone, to defend the Iranians against this despotic, evil regime. Trump and the US are doing it, along with Israel. But the rest of the world remains silent, and like ostriches, keep their heads in the sand, only to remove them to screech and criticize the only two countries trying to remove the regime from continuing this cruelty.

Why? Because it doesn’t fit the protesting countries, the Church and peoples’ agenda. But they ignore the barbarism. They, by their silence, are as guilty as those committing these atrocities.

As the words of the song of the Sounds of Silence reveals, to paraphrase, ‘fools, you do not know , your silence is like a cancer, which grows’

The cancer, which you are  permitting, is growing DARK deep within your hearts. And innocent people continue to be murdered by the satanic regime you continue to support in Iran.

Respect -The Easiest Way to Make a Point

One of the most fascinating concepts you learn as a child, and should be conveyed throughout your life, is respect. Respect your elders, respect your teachers, respect your parents and grandparents. Respect your neighbor.

You may not like them or agree with them. But you were taught to respect them.

A good example: In the Mafia, when a “sit-down” meeting was held between factions which disagreed with each other, the “capo” or the boss would expect each side to make their arguments known, respectfully, without yelling or slamming fists on the table. Once one lost his temper during the meeting, no matter the point being made, he lost his valid argument.

The phrase made most often used, when disagreeing, would be “with all due respect” or “I mean no disrespect”. In a tone which reflected  sincerity. Not yelling or name-calling.

But today, in the “civilizedworld of politics, respect is absent. From both sides of the aisle.

But it is with those on the Left which seems to have lost the ability to convey respect. They feel their arguments have legitimacy because they yell at those with whom they disagree, and are more noticed by a sympathetic media.

But they show no respect for viewpoints other than their own. And that is problematic in a society which expects civility in conversation. But they have watched Democrats in the Congress show contempt for those who oppose them. And have, wrongly, learned this behavior is acceptable.

It isn’t.

It is time for people to tone down their belligerent behavior, take a breath or two, and listen to what others are saying before jumping to scream out and continue to show your lack of respect.

Even in the criminal world of the Mafia, one learns to show respect for his opponents more than those on the Left. Maybe we should have a “Don” show you how you should act.

And learn how to respect each other again.

Another DINO Shows What Democrats Really Are

Crazy kook Representative Rosa DeLauro  was told by EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin she was “uninformed” Monday after the Connecticut Democrat completely lost it and suggested he drink weed killer during a heated congressional budget hearing.

She also was unaware, apparently, that her unacceptable behavior in the Congress was a sign of disrespect for her office. But then, it has been condoned by many Democrat members when speaking to Republicans who testify before the Congress.

DeLauro, the purple-haired ranking member of the House Appropriations Committee, argued that Zeldin’s budget proposal “reads like a climate change denier’s manifesto” as she asked the EPA chief to “justify abandoning [the EPA’s] duty to protect Americans” from climate change.

Following the law,” he responded. “Section 202 of the Clean Air Act. Where does it say anything about fighting global climate change? Loper Bright. Supreme Court case. Are you familiar with it?” Zeldin asked.

As she protested, Zeldin continued, “I know you’re upset. You don’t know what Loper Bright is. Do you know what the major policies doctrine is?” Zeldin challenged DeLauro, adding, “You’re a member of Congress, you should know.”

This back and forth bitter exchange went on  until DeLauro raged, “I don’t have to listen to this BS!

The  heated debate continued when DeLauro said, “ Glyphosate,” referring to the active ingredient in the pesticide Roundup.

Zeldin advised that if the congresswoman’s cup was filled with glyphosate, she should not drink it. To which DeLauro responded, “Maybe you should try doing that.”

It seems that even in the Congress, Democrats are so filled with hate and extreme TDS, that they actually have no answer when it comes to debate except to demand that Republicans kill themselves.

Congresswoman DeLauro is only the latest who proves this point. This certainly is no longer the Democrat Party of even just thirty years ago.

They are the new DINOs (Democrats In Name Only).

Will ALL the Fraud and Fraudsters Be Held Accountable?

The FBI raided twenty-two child care centers in Minnesota Tuesday morning as part of a wide-ranging investigation of social services fraud.

Today the FBI with federal, state and local law enforcement is involved in court-authorized law enforcement activity as part of an ongoing fraud investigation,” a Justice Department official told members of the media.

The targets included the Quality “Learing” Center, a Minneapolis day care center which gained notoriety last winter, when Nick Shirley began investigating Somali fraud in that state.

By itself, the raid would be almost a non-event, as the FBI  had been investigating the fraud for months. But instead, some humor revealed itself just yesterday which highlights the profound failure of the entire Minnesota education system under Governor Tampon Tim. And several other notable Democrat politicians who represent Minnesota.

Yesterday, Representative Ilhan Omar (D-MN) was caught on camera via a resurfaced video calling for the repeal of the 1798 Alien Enemies Act, when she said in part, “The last time the Alien Enemies was used  was to depose Germans, Italians and Japanese immigrants during World War ELEVEN.” Not World War II.

Apparently, she was either absent the day the Learing Center taught Roman Numerals, or she cannot read a teleprompter. Either way, she has proven her incompetence to serve in the United States Congress.

In addition, she is now the Poster Girl for the rampant fraud in her state. There is nothing else she can say which will ever dispel her involvement. Or her turning of a “blind eye” to the billions of dollars of hard-earned taxpayer money stolen by her predominately Somali-born immigrants and constituents.

The focus on fraud in Minnesota has largely been pandemic-era feeding programs and autism support services that fleeced taxpayers.

At least sixty-five people have been charged criminally with the separate Feeding Our Future scam, which allegedly ripped off taxpayers to the tune of $250MM. Many have pleaded guilty in the sprawling case, which the DOJ began prosecuting in the Biden administration.

The Trump administration estimates fraud in Minnesota alone at $19 billion, with dozens charged criminally.

It is time to prosecute, convict and jail ANYONE involved either committing or covering up this crime. And force them to make restitution.

Kimmel Gives Disney a One-Time Opportunity

This past Thursday, Disney may have received an overdue wake-up call to finally decide who will represent their values in the coming years. Unfunny, one dimensional Jimmy Kimmel decided to make a "joke" about the then-upcoming White House Correspondents' Dinner.

Kimmel mocked the dinner on his show on Thursday night, giving his own speech in which he led with a picture and said: “Our first lady, Melania, is here. Look at Melania,   so beautiful. Mrs. Trump, you have a glow like an expectant widow.”

Considering what ultimately took place this past Saturday, both Chairman James Gorman and CEO Josh D'Amato need to review how much longer this TDS sycophant will be permitted to destroy the Disney brand.

Jimmy Kimmel's contract with ABC to host "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" is set to end in May 2027. Following a one-year extension signed in December 2025, Kimmel agreed to continue hosting through the 2026-27 season. His previous contract was originally scheduled to expire in May 2026.

However, as with most contracts, while he has been given great leeway to perform his "comedy", his contractual provisions allow his "employer to terminate the  agreement if an individual engages in immoral, illegal, or disreputable behavior that brings public scandal or damages reputation". This attitude by him certainly qualifies. And it isn't the first time.

"A coward, Kimmel hides behind ABC because he knows the network will keep running cover to protect him,” Melania wrote on  X.

"Enough is enough. It is time for ABC to take a stand. How many times will ABC’s leadership enable Kimmel’s atrocious behavior at the expense of our community?”

She makes a good point. His offensive attempts at humor really doesn't sit well with most Americans.

This is a good time tor the two executives to take the lead to protect the brand. Kimmel gave them this golden opportunity; they are fools if they don't take it

The Senator Who Almost Lost His Soul For Political Expedience

Lame duck North Carolina Republican Senator Thom Tillis on Sunday said he would allow Senate confirmation of Federal Reserve chair nominee Kevin Warsh to go forward after the Department of Justice on Friday ‌dropped an investigation into current Fed Chair Jerome Powell that Tillis viewed as a threat to the central bank’s political independence.

That investigation was brought forth because Powell was believed to have recklessly overspent the budget on the refurbishment of the Washington DC Federal Reserve Headquarters building.

After months of stalling, Tillis said on Sunday's "Meet the Press" on Sunday morning, "I am prepared to move on with the confirmation of Mr. Warsh. I think he’s going to be a great Fed chair.”

Well, la-de-dah. All because the DOJ was prepared to drop the charge.

This past Friday, US Attorney Jeanine Pirro said on X that she was ending it and would ask the Fed’s own inspector general, already months into its own review of the renovations, to take over. This was an excellent move  by Judge Jeanine.

Senator Tillis, who is not a Trump supporter, used President Trump's criticism of Chair Powell's resistance to  reduce interest rates. And Tillis latched onto this as reason to stall Trump's nominee, even as he claims he actually supports Warsh, who he claims has "impeccable" credentials.

Warsh, a Fed governor from 2006 to 2011, has promised to overhaul the Fed’s approach to ‌monetary policy and to cooperate more closely on non-monetary policy matters with the Treasury and other parts of government.

As for Tillis, he believes he is now the "white knight" who "saved" Warsh's nomination, after almost sandbagging it. He expects now to be considered the savior who went beyond his conscience.

But his legacy will be the man who almost betrayed his own soul.

The Night Which Will Be Remembered

It was a night, but not one which was expected. It was, however, one which could have had tragic consequences. You know, like Lincoln, Garfield, McKinley and Kennedy.

Thankfully, it wasn’t.

It was surreal to watch in real time. One can only imagine what those ìn attendance were experiencing. It could have been a nightmare had the worst possible outcome occurred.

There are several takeaways which we as a nation must address and recognize, whether we like President Trump or not. As Americans, we have a right to disagree with the President, respectfully, but no one has the right to take aim at him and attempt to end his life.

We have seen this played out too many times in our history, where attempts to kill, but failed, were made on Teddy Roosevelt, Gerald Ford, Ronald Reagan, George Bush 41 and 43, and now, Donald Trump, three times since 2024. Fortunately, these attempts were mitigated.

There is too much hostility focused on President Trump, mostly caused by the anti-Trump, leftist media, Democrat opponents and others who suffer from TDS. Members of the “tolerant” left are blinded by their hatred and intolerance for this one man.

Saturday night’s events, at a function which has traditionally been a time which political differences are put aside, brought people together to make certain no one, whether they were friends or not, was hurt. And knowing that the would-be assassin could have done greater harm to many more people than one injured secret service officer had to be a sobering wake up call.

Perhaps, the lesson of last evening should be to stop the political divide over issues which are tearing the country apart because one Party is so opposed to ANYTHING President Trump is for, without giving a consideration that it may be good for the country. You know, like funding DHS, for seventy-one days, of which the Secret Service is a part, because another agency in the department is so disliked.

The rhetoric of his opposition sounds more strident and shrill, filled with anger and hate, which riles up the violence even more in someone who is looking to exact a certain negative outcome. And ultimately, could have ended differently than it did last night.

It is time for Senator Schumer and Leader Jeffries to recognize that their words of disagreement with President Trump are received quite differently than they may have intended. It is time for them to focus on dialing back their extreme verbiage and venom which has ginned up the excessive violent responses of some who are not able to distinguish political rhetoric from actual calls to arm oneself with weapons.

If nothing else, the White House Correspondents Dinner was ended last night without a national tragedy. It will be celebrated again, within the coming weeks, with a focus on congeniality by both the Administration and the Press, with less confrontation and more respect, especially as both recognize that the goal is the preservation of free speech.

We figuratively and literally escaped a bullet last night as a nation. Let us unite and make certain this never actually happens.

We are given a chance to learn an invaluable lesson: as a nation we are given a chance to heal; take it and make sure a national tragedy never actually occurs.

It is a priceless lesson, for sure.

The Continued Appeasement of the Regime and the IRGC

When WILL the world wake up and realize that the Islamic Republic, the IRGC and other bad actors in Occupied Iran are not interested in any peace deal or other “end of war” scenario with the US or Israel? Their whole purpose, as proven by its forty-seven year existence, is to delay, delay, delay until its opponent wearies from that stalling exercise.

Today, Pakistan officials advised the US that Iran’s “negotiators” had already left Islamabad.

Therefore, US negotiators Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner will no longer be heading to Pakistan for talks with Iran.

I've told my people a little while ago they were getting ready to leave, and I said, 'Nope, you're not making an 18 hour flight to go there. We have all the cards. They can call us anytime they want, but you're not going to be making any more 18 hour flights to sit around talking about nothing’," President Trump said when asked for his response to Iran’s reversal.

Iran’s foreign ministry said any future talks would no longer be direct, face-to-face negotiations, but rather, be indirect with intermediaries. If you recall, this was the process Iran insisted on prior to the attack of February 28. Delay, delay, delay.

Iran is betting on US and world public opinion to turn against President Trump like it did against seven other US Presidents when they  all acquiesced (appeased) to continue to allow the Regime to pry on its neighbors and its own citizens unfettered.

And the Regime is counting on the leftist American media, its Socialist supporters in the Democrat Party, other Trump haters, and other sufferers of TDS to fight for the Regime instead of for the oppressed and persecuted Iranian citizens.

It's overall tactics are to delay, obfuscate and and deceive the world from its goal to continue its brutality without encumbrance or hindrance. Just like Stalin and Hitler, Pol Pot and Mao achieved.

But Trump seems to have other ideas. These ideas have been unchanged since Ayatollah Khomeini and his henchmen, with the tacit support of the UK, France and Jimmy Carter, successfully overthrew the Shah and created the Islamic Republic.

He has unequivocally called for the return of Iran as it was when it enjoyed the freedoms and liberties of a westernized society before the Islamists began their reign of terror.

It is the "Grand Plan" of this evil, despotic dictatorship. It is counting on the world for support  in the belief many nations will be concerned for cheap oil and gas, rather than, its cruelty to 90MM people whose lives are of no consequence in the scheme of life outside Iran.

Can Iran continue to delay, delay, delay without opposition? The Regime and its satanic actors are counting on it.

Seig Heil!

The Hypocrisy of Screaming NIMBY

The funniest outcome with the election of Zohran Mamdani as Mayor of New York City was the outrage by progressives and leftists who overwhelmingly voted for him

They revealed their hypocrisy this week when ten residents joined the Village Organization for the Integrity of Community Engagement (VOICE) in their suit against the City after Mamdani announced plans earlier this year to turn a building at 8 East 3rd Street into a citywide intake shelter to house homeless adult men.

"No one is more ‘not in my backyard’ than white progressives. This community voted for Mamdani in a landslide but don’t want to live with the consequences" Michael Henry, a former New York attorney general candidate, wrote on social media outlets. He was joined by Senators Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Rick Scott (R-FL) with posts of their own.

Election District 45, the area that includes the East Village, voted for Mamdani in a 70.1% victory over independent candidate Andrew Cuomo, who garnered just 26.0% of the vote.

Mamdani announced the temporary housing project at 8 East 3rd Street as a way to accommodate the closure of Bellevue Shelter, a separate homeless intake site that the mayor’s office said had deteriorated too far for use.

"The Department of Social Services (DSS) and Department of Homeless Services (DHS) will immediately implement an operational plan to vacate 30th Street and relocate the critical functions to other sites. There are approximately 250 individuals in the shelter and the DSS is working to relocate these individuals by mid-March," Mamdani’s office said in an early March press release.

To implement this temporary action,  Mamdani relied on an emergency declaration from 2022, a power originally issued to handle an influx of asylum-seekers.

The mayor’s office also detailed that a second accommodation site would be opened at 333 Bowery Street, beginning on May 1, to house families without minor children.

Once again, the people who foisted this Socialist (read Communist) on the City, are now the loudest to protest his actions. But this, folks, is what they voted for, and now they may be looking for a “do-over” because it is impacting THEM

Oh yes. Elections DO have consequences, and it is painful when it is not what they expected. And ‘Not In My Backyard’  makes them look so hypocritical.

Enjoy your consequences, you leftist hypocrites; you just got what you wanted for everyone else.

An Unconstitutional Outcome in Virginia

Gerrymandering - the practice of dividing or arranging a territorial unit into election districts in a way that gives one political party an unfair advantage in elections - Merriam Webster

Not even twenty-four hours had elapsed since the polls closed in the Virginia Congressional Redistricting scheme when Tazewell County Circuit Court Judge Jack Hurley sided with Republican plaintiffs and declared the amendment and enabling legislation "void ab initio," citing multiple violations of the Virginia Constitution.

The ruling also permanently enjoins state officials from certifying the results of Tuesday's special election or taking any steps to implement the proposed congressional map.

The entire process was flawed right from the start, as the present Virginia breakdown had six Democrats and five Republicans representing the State in the House of Representatives, while the redrawn map revealed a Democrat-controlled legislature gerrymandered breakdown, leaving a proposed ten Democrat districts and one Republican district. The vote was 51% in favor of the Democrat initiative, leaving Republicans potentially only one seat in the House.

In making his decision to invalidate the referendum, Judge Harley ruled that the process:

- Violates the Virginia constitution which requires two legislative sessions occur before a change may be considered

- Lawmakers failed to follow statutory procedures, including requirements for public notice and timing

- Legislation improperly combined multiple subjects, violated restrictions on local election laws, and required early voting before the constitutionally mandated 90-day window had elapsed

- The ballot question itself was "flagrantly misleading" and did not accurately describe the amendment approved by lawmakers

Based on those findings, the court declared all votes cast in the referendum "ineffective."

The referendum, narrowly approved by voters, would have temporarily shifted redistricting authority from Virginia's bipartisan commission to the Democrat-controlled legislature through 2030.

With certification now blocked and the amendment struck down, the case was immediately appealed by Democrats and is expected to move quickly on appeal. However, it leaves uncertainty over whether any redistricting changes will take effect before the 2026 midterm elections.

This is another example of Democrats being angry at Republicans for things they themselves are guilty of actually doing," former Trump campaign national press secretary and current Newsmax contributor Hogan Gidley told viewers on Tuesday. "Seven of the 10 most gerrymandered states in this country are Democrat-controlled, and in 16 of the 20 least gerrymandered states in this country are Republican-dominated states.“

It stands to reason that Democrats  know their message is non-existent, and therefore, they must rely on this type of maneuvering to possibly flip control in the Congress. Because voters are no longer voting for Democrats

Perhaps it is time for the Democrat Party to do some real soul-searching and step away from the Socialist brink they are approaching. Or they will go the way of the Whigs, the Federalists and the Know Nothing Party of the early to mid eighteenth century.

Once More, the Regime Plays Its Evil Game

For those people who believe the United States and President Donald Trump is intransigent with his attitude toward the illegal occupiers of Iran, keep in mind that he agreed to a ceasefire in order to begin talks for two weeks, which expires today, and now extended it indefinitely, provided the Islamic Regime decides to negotiate in good faith.

It was revealed by unknown sources inside Islamabad, who touted positive mediation efforts with Tehran, by renewing the possibility of more peace talks within the next “36 to 72 hours.” Asked about this possible breakthrough, Trump, in a text message, said: “It’s possible! President DJT.”

The incremental update comes a day after the US president announced he would extend the current cease-fire with Iran until its divided leadership can come up with “a unified proposal.”

The effect on the American stock market has been positive thus far today. The Dow is up around 300 points, while NASDAQ is up about the same. Presently, oil futures are less certain, as prices are hovering around $92 a barrel, until more clarity can be determined.

Apparently, the effect President Trump’s Truth Social post had a significant effect, when he posted,”I have directed our Military to continue the Blockade and, in all other respects, remain ready and able, and will therefore extend the Ceasefire until such time as their proposal is submitted, and discussions are concluded, one way or the other.”

It is obvious that the Islamic Regime is blaming the US for the failure for the delay in the continued negotiations. But instead, it seems it is the regime which is trying to play its usual, tired and predictable game to attempt to persuade the world it is the “victim” in the process. All while it continues to murder that country’s patriots who oppose the inhuman treatment of the regime’s prisoners.

In addition, there are known to be at least eight women who are presently scheduled to be executed in the coming days. One is fourteen, while several others are under twenty. Yet the silence coming from the regime sympathizers, like many in the Democrat Party AND the Pope is deafening.

To anyone with a conscience, it is very revealing who actually is intransigent  in their attitudes over American involvement in this “excursion”. And it is not President Trump.

It is time for everyone to cease with their hypocritical BS, and their false indignation, to stop supporting the Islamic Republic and its conduct, as Senator Chris Murphy seems to have done with his post this week on X.

It borders on treason and certainly shows his distaste for the American military, and its attempts to help Iranian citizens overthrown the occupiers of their country who have chanted Death to America” for forty-seven years.

How about looking at this murderous regime as the evil it really is and get over your Trump Derangement Syndrome? It actually is nauseating.

Good-bye Noel

Last night, we watched sadly as our Noel crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. It was sudden, as if she were herself all day, until suddenly, at about 4:00 she began to take a decline until she crashed.

She was not in any noticeable pain, but could not stand up anymore. She just lay there, refusing to drink water or take her favorite cookies.

By nine pm, it was inevitable she would be gone soon.

Noel was a rescue which my daughter got in December, 2011 for her then-fiancé, now husband the Saturday before Christmas. She was about a year or so, and was rescued from a kill shelter.

She was a tan-colored coon hound and made her mark in our lives almost immediately. When she walked into the house that first time, she spotted a roast resting on the stove top. She must have thought it was a “Welcome” meal, and proceeded to pull it down and began to enjoy it lavishly.

It was then we all realized she was a girl who had very definite ideas who was going to dominate whom. She began to take charge, as any alpha dog would, even letting our white shepherd, Angel, know who was now going to be the boss.

She was a mush, a loving dog, bringing joy to all of us. And when my daughter’s children were born, she showed she was protective. But of course, she let them know they were only guests in her home.

My daughter, and her husband, still have three rescues: Lucy, a lab-shepherd mix (we think), Daisy, a bichon, and Lulu, a border terrier. All loving dogs.

So, as we say good-bye to Noel, we are at least comforted knowing that she was not alone when she passed, and believing Angel, Jameson, Shea, Candy, Skippy and Tara will be there to welcome her when she arrives.

You were a good girl, Noel. Rest in Peace.

The Church Exposes Itself of False Moral Equivalence

"Let he who is without sin among you, may cast the first stone" (John 8:7)

Pope Leo lamented during an event in Angola on Monday that many people in the world were being "exploited by authoritarians and defrauded by the rich," the latest example of a forceful new speaking style he has adopted on his ‌four-nation Africa tour.

During the Mass, his homily focused on all things that claimed violence and oppression went against the Christian message.

"Every form of oppression, violence, exploitation and dishonesty negates the resurrection of Christ," he said.

This is, of course, very prescient at first glance. But upon reflection, it seems he was directing his message to President Trump, the United States and Israel.

The Pope told journalists on Sunday that his speeches during the tour were written weeks ago and not aimed directly ‌at Trump. However, he is increasingly revealing his dislike, if not contempt, for the more conservative elements of American values.

He has been displaying a leaning toward more Socialist ideals, much like his predecessor, Pope Francis. And considering his years spent in third world countries, perhaps his beliefs are even more leftist than we all originally believed.

For years, the Church has moved to become increasingly more liberal, and more involved in politics, perhaps in order to make up for the sins against humanity by Popes Pius XI and Pius XII, when they turned blind eyes to Mussolini and Hitler when they slaughtered so many innocents from at least 1922 to 1945.

Pope John XXIII strived to correct the wrongs of his predecessors,  by modernizing the Church, creating an Ecumenical Council to renew relationships with other religions and by reaching out to Communist-led countries in order to foster peace and religious tolerance in those countries.

Pope Paul VI continued the Ecumenical Council and some of the benefits the Church still enjoys today. He journeyed extensively to bring a positive message to all humanity, but confused Catholics with many mixed messages concerning their loyalties to the Church. In the end , the laity began to leave, slowly at first, but later, much more noticeable.

Pope John Paul strived to halt the bleeding but ultimately, was unsuccessful in this endeavor. He did, however, push to continue some of the attributes of Vatican II by continue to improve relationships with all faiths, becoming a catalyst in anti-Communist fervor in Europe, and apologizing for the Church’s mistakes  including its involvement in the African slave trade, its silence during the Holocaust, and the clergy’s sex-abuse and the subsequent silence which was propagated.l

But Benedict, Francis and now, Leo have become increasingly involved in politics and social issues, and have moved away from its primary obligation, which is to save souls.

Over the last sixty-five years or so, the pendulum has swung further to the left in order to distance itself from the horror it allowed before Vatican II. This “mea culpa” is now falling on deaf ears and has lost all sincerity in order to claim a new “moral clarity” of a righteous plateau.

And suddenly, the American left, which is as anti-Catholic and as anti-Semitic  as they come, is cheering Pope Leo because he is criticizing the Iran War, Donald Trump and Israel for attacking the Islamic Republic. But he and the leftists were silent when the IRGC and the regime were slaughtering innocents.

Reminds one of Pope Pius XI AND XII, doesn’t it? Until Leo and the American left begin to offer that same criticism against Iran, it would behoove you to quietly take a seat and shut up.

The world sees through your hypocritical moral outrage. It is repelling and disgusting.

Is This the End of the Experiment of a Failed Mets Season?

The Mets have already played 13% of the 2026 season and in twenty-one games, their record is already seven wins with fourteen losses, including the last ten in a row. They are mired in last place in their division and in the entire National League.

They are tied with the Kansas City Royals with the worst record in all of baseball with a .333 winning percentage. And worst of all, they have a negative run score of twenty-four runs. Which means they are scored twenty-four less runs than they have allowed opponents to score against them.

They also have already been shutout four times this season, with three of those shutouts coming in the last ten games.

As Met Fans will recall, at the end of last season, President of Baseball Operations, David Stearns made a statement that this season would be focused on run prevention. Little did we know it was going to be METS  run prevention, not their opponents.

In the same twenty-one games, they have also DFA’d, released or sent down five players who were on the Opening Day roster. That roster was finalized by said David Stearns, as well. He also was the decision-maker who decided to rid the team of several players last off-season, either via trade or not offer a contract to those who went through free agency.

And it is highlighting his small-market  capabilities big time now.

The last time the Mets started off this bad was back in 2004. The last time they lost ten in a row was also in 2004, when they lost eleven. The all-time losing streak was way back in 1962 with seventeen, their Inaugural year.

Since Stearns and Carlos Mendoza took over the team beginning in 2024, the record has been 179 and 166, through Saturday’s game, with one playoff appearance in 2024 and a huge miss last year. And doesn’t look promising for this season.

Mendoza’s contract is up at the end of this year, and Stearns’ contract is up after 2028. But owner Steve Cohen, who promised a World Series within five seasons when he acquired the team in November, 2020, is not a man who likes to be embarrassed.

Having his $360MM team plus a $120MM luxury tax being booed off the field after the last homestand did not sit well with him this week. You can be sure some serious conversations were held at the Citifield offices while the team was on the road.

This early season performance will not be tolerated much longer, especially if the fans stop showing up. While season tickets are already bought and paid for, the lack of cheeks in the seats by the unsold beers, the unsold food and the non-purchase of souvenirs will affect the bottom line. Which, after expenses, is all profit to the team.

For a man who made his $23BB of net worth, this is totally unacceptable. You can be sure that both Mendoza and Stearns will not see the end of the season if this continues.

Certainly, he has ignored the fans and some of the sportswriters calling for the team to do something dramatic. But continued sub-par play is not going to give pause to his impatience. Soon enough, an eruption will occur

And when it finally does, the ghost of George Steinbrenner will make its overdue appearance in Flushing. And the fans will be stunned by what could possibly happen next.

Will joy in Metsville finally return? The ball is racing to Uncle Steve at breakneck speed.

Batter up!
