What the Laken Riley Act Vote Reveals to Us

The Laken Riley Act is heading to President Trump's desk for signature today, as his first law signed since assuming office on Monday. Forty-six House Democrats and twelve Democrat Senators decided to defy their leadership and vote for Justice for Laken.

 

Apparently, Hakeem and Kathy and Schmuckie and Dickie care more for illegals’ rights than the rights of Americans who they are SUPPOSED to represent. And the obedient sheep went along with this stupidity.

BBC online reported that the bill, named after Laken Riley, a Georgia nursing student murdered last year by an illegal Venezuelan immigrant, passed the House of Representatives a day after it was approved by the Senate.

It is a shame that ANY Member of Congress would find it acceptable to vote against this bill. Why is that? Is it because President Trump supported it?

I wonder how they would have reacted had their daughter been killed in such a vicious, violent manner by an illegal alien? Would they be fine with it then? Or would they demand justice?

Reasonable people know that this bill will not restore Laken to her family. But she should not be forced to die in vain, either.

The purpose of this law is to put safeguards in place to make sure this never happens again. By making it so tough, that an illegal would think twice before committing such a dastardly act.

So, now we know that those who voted against this law don’t give a $#!+ about Americans. They only care for the illegals who invaded our country and have no regard for any of us.

And Schumer and Jeffries, etal, will continue to violate the very Constitution they swore to uphold. It is all about opposing Trump to them.

Not about their responsibilities to be privileged to serve the American People in Congress.
