Time To Replace the Incompetent Krazy Kat

Last week, when I discussed Governor Krazy Kat Hochul's budget in my commentary, Krazy Kat Is Slick and a Fool, I mentioned that she was going to take a surplus of $5Bn and give it away on “social” programs.

And she bragged how safe the subways were under her tenure.

She also said  she would take $77MM to “fortifysecurity in the subways with her five-point plan (see chart).

But, Krazy Kat still hasn’t addressed two glaring issues which came to the forefront on Monday: the unworkable failures of No Bail” and the growing homeless population due to lack of mental health treatment.

Early on Monday, as reported in the New York Post, an unidentified woman was pushed into an oncoming “A” Train at 175 Street by Markeese Brazelis, 26, who already has sex abuse and trespassing cases hanging over his head.

He was identified as homeless, and had been arrested and released TWICE in the last several weeks, including on December 21 and January 19. Both times he was released without posting bail.

Michael Kemper, the MTA’s chief security officer, was outraged that Brazelis was walking the streets after two recent run-ins with police.

It’s beyond comprehension how this menace can be arrested two different times … only to be turned loose to cause more mayhem,” Kemper said in a statement Monday.

But actually, it isn’t, Chief Kemper. Not in Krazy Kat’s New York. She pays loads of lip service, first to say the subways are safe, and posts pictures of herself on social media in an empty train car, and then, thows a $77MM bandaid at the problem because she knows no one believes her.

But the problem will persist because she is an incompetent idiot, following the playbook outlined by the party bosses and social justice warriors.

Perhaps, if she took the $5Bn surplus to fix the mental health problem rampant among the homeless, rather than socialist giveaways to buy votes, that might help solve at least some of the problems.

Oh, and repeal the “no bail” law.

That would fix a huge problem, too. Criminals walk around with no fear of consequence, right now.

It is time for real action by a competent governor for New York because Krazy Kat ain’t it.
