The Most Irrelevant Person in Politics

At the risk of embarrassing himself, Mike Pence is trying to make himself relevant. He  succeeded; in his own mind.

He latest attempt is to smear Robert F Kennedy Jr, President-Elect Trump's Health and Human Services-designate. Why? Because of all things, abortion.

According to Fox News, Pence's beef with Trump's pick is that in the first Trump term, it was a pro-life Administration which successfully argued the Dobbs case in the Supreme Court.

The result was that Dobbs overturned Roe, which in turn, removed it as a federal law and returned it to the states for further action.

Pence claims that RFK is a pro-abortion advocate and should not be in charge of HHS. Uhm… Kennedy knows he can’t overturn the Supreme Court.

Pence claimed Kennedy has "defended abortion on demand during all nine months of pregnancy" for the majority of his career and supports overturning the Dobbs decision by codifying Roe v. Wade. But someone needs to explain to Pence that as an officer of the Administration, he must follow the existing law. NOT MAKE IT.

In the end, Pence is where HE IS because of Pence. No one cares what he says anymore. Not even people who don’t like Trump.

So Mikey, it is time to stay put in Indiana. Here is a little snippet from Indiana Wants Me:

It hurts to see the man that I've become
And to know I'll never see the morning sun

And stay there, Mike. No one wants to hear from you again.

You see, you made a name for yourself: Mr Irrelevant.
