We know he made many trips to the Keystone State. This including trips to Philadelphia, Pittsburgh Harrisburgh, Wilkes-Barre and Scranton.
But the obvious return stop was in Butler, where on July 13, he was shot and stood up defiantly, calling out to the crowd to “FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT”. And by so doing, voters turned out to put him over the top to win.
And, in a little-noticed side-light, he secured the vote from an oft-ignored group of people, the Amish.
Lancaster County, PA has one of the largest contingents of Amish and Mennonites in the country. There are, as of November 5, Election Day, 365,989 registered voters in the county, of which 288,968 actually voted. Of those who voted, over 165,000 or 58% voted for Donald Trump.
Kamala Harris received only 118,000 votes or 41%, and the other 1% was divvied up by other candidates.
According to the New York Post, this was accomplished in no small measure by the efforts of Elon Musk, who donated computers and satellites to help Liesa Burwell-Perry, an avid churchgoer and a teacher’s wife, organize 200 community members to shuttle about 26,000 people from Amish weddings to the polls to vote for Trump on Election Day, one of the highest turnouts the region has seen in recent history, called "Operation Help Thy Neighbor".
This is a group which generally shuns modern conveniences and technology. But they knew from recent experience that the Harris-Biden Regime’s regulations were killing their businesses and way of life.
So, they eagerly turned out to vote for the person who would let them live freely and without burdensome, oppressive interference.
This is one of the major reasons Donald Trump won Pennsylvania and captured the Presidency. And while so many of us are so out-of-touch with all our technology over so many people, in the end, the people who live the simple life used that same technology to make a statement.
And Elon Musk, creator of so much technology, showed us how to simply do it right.
