First Pick - Susie Wiles, Chief of Staff

It was announced on Thursday afternoon by many media outlets, including Newsmax, that President-Elect Trump appointed Susie Wiles to be his Chief of Staff. Ms Wiles was Donald Trump's Co-Chair of his re-election campaign. She is now the first woman to ever serve in this role.

If you recall, this past summer I wrote several commentaries regarding the Trump second Cabinet choices. In the one entitled, My Trump Second Cabinet Picks – Part 2, among other potential appointees, I named Susie Wiles as his Chief of Staff.

I said at the time, Susie Wiles – Chief of Staff: Presently, Ms Wiles is co-campaign manager for Donald Trump's 2024 presidential campaign. In 2015, Wiles worked as Florida co-chair of Trump's 2016 presidential campaign and in 2020, Wiles served as a senior advisor to Trump's re-election campaign. Following the 2020 presidential election, Wiles served as the chief executive officer of the Save America Leadership PAC, Trump's leadership political action committee.

In the Newsmax article, Trump was quoted in part, “Susie Wiles just helped me achieve one of the greatest political victories in American history, and was an integral part of both my 2016 and 2020 successful campaigns.”

Trump also gave a shout-out to Wiles on Tuesday afternoon while speaking with reporters at the polling site where he voted.

If you recall, many in the liberal establishment, including Mark Cuban, who went on The View and claimed that Donald Trump does not surround himself with “strong, intelligent women,” alleging that the former president “doesn’t like to be challenged” by them.

Looks like Mark and the cast-of The View will be eating crow on this one. And if you recall, Trump had many high-ranking women employed in his business. So that is an absolute falsehood.

Neverthless, congratulations to Susie Wiles to be named Chief of Staff to the President-Elect. It is well-deserved.
