An Illogical First Choice To Take a Stand By Mamdani

While forty states brace for a massive winter storm this weekend, including New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, New York City Mayor Mamdani brazenly has declared as of Friday, “No snow day for you!”

Public school students can at best hope for remote classes for early next week as the city braces for a potentially devastating storm that the mayor has already said could dump more than a foot of snow or more across the Big Apple. And it is expected that there could be a loss of electricity, as well.

The city will confirm by Sunday 12PM whether students should show up for class in person or log in remotely. But what good would working from home on Google Classroom if you can’t turn the computer on?

Forecasters are predicting the fast-approaching monster winter storm could batter the city with up to 18 inches of snow through Monday, bringing bone-chilling temps and a travel nightmare across the tri-state.

Even Gov Kathy “Krazy Kat” Hochul on Friday declared a state of emergency for the entire state, as Mamdani insisted the city was well-prepared to weather the first major storm of his administration, dubbing the operation “Blade Runner 2.0.”

Mamdani urged New Yorkers to hunker down inside. Oh, and stay safe.

“I want to encourage New Yorkers to do their parts to stay safe this weekend. That is why we are issuing a hazardous travel advisory for Sunday and for Monday,” he said.

“I want to encourage New Yorkers to do something that we don’t often have the luxury of doing, which is take a breath and stay home, stay indoors, stay off the roads, watch the snow come down, watch the worst possible reality TV show you can find.”

But schools will be open, he insisted. One way or another. All to get Federal and state money for his panacea of socialist programs.

This illogical decision by the Mayor may show his glaring failure to be a leader in order to show, instead, that he is a boss.

Remembering All Who Gave Their Lives To the Final Fontier

It will be forty years this coming Wednesday, January 28, 1986, when the Challenger exploded seventy-three seconds after liftoff. It will be fifty-nine years since Apollo 1 caught fire during a test on the launch pad on January 27, 1967.

It also will be twenty-three years since Columbia blew apart as it returned to earth passing over Texas on February 1, 2003.

In each case, there was nothing NASA, or anyone else, could do to save them. Several other American astronauts and Soviet cosmonauts died in the pursuit to explore space, the final frontier.

It’s hard to believe it was that long ago,” said four-time astronaut and former NASA associated administrator Bob Cabana during NASA’s Day of Remembrance ceremony yesterday at KSC’s Visitor Complex. “For those of us who were around at the time, the picture of those two solid rocket motors, their plumes going off in separate directions against that clear, blue Florida sky that morning is something that’s firmly etched in our brains that we will always remember.”

These brave souls should and will be remembered now and always for the noble cause of learning the secrets of space and the knowledge which will be gained for all mankind. It is an innate quality we have as a species to learn all we can about our neighborhoods and our universe.

As much as the explorers who left the comfort of their homes to find “shorter routes” to Asia more than five centuries ago, and instead, found two continents and several unexpected islands in the way as they headed west, they learned much about the world they did not know in which they lived. It inspired additional journeys to learn all they could as their horizons expanded.

To the modern-day men and women who died daring this same pursuit, we salute you. 

As President Reagan said that night when the seven astronauts died in the Challenger explosion,  they "slipped the surly bonds of earth to touch the face of God," a poignant line from the poem "High Flight" used to honor their sacrifice and aspirations. He further told the nation, "We will never forget them, nor the last time we saw them, this morning, as they prepared for their journey and waved goodbye". 

As NASA prepares to visit the moon again next month with Artemis II, let us remember those who went before into the vast reaches of space to pave the road for a new way and pray for a safe return.

May God continue to keep them all safe and may He continue to bless them forever.

Let Freedom Ring In Iran


​Where, oh where are the “Free Palestine” protesters when it comes to the atrocities being committed in Iran by its “government” against its people? This is ACTUAL genocide, unlike what they perceived happened  in Israel, where Arabs and others were part of the Israeli Knesset.

Israelis were not shooting nor hanging those who protested their government. Like the Ayatollah and his “holy” Mullahs are.

It was revealed that the illegitimate Iranian government has acknowledged that, since December 28, almost 5,000 citizens have been killed, and another 9,400 deaths are under investigation. However, other human rights groups have put that number at well over 20,000

And in order to retrieve the bodies of their loved ones to be buried, the Mullahs are requiring TEN BILLION Rials or $9,400 from the families for that privilege.

It was reported that many of the captured men and women were raped and otherwise sexually assaulted by IRGC soldiers before they were killed, and in some cases, had their bodies burned by these barbarians.

And yet, ISRAEL was blamed for genocidal atrocities? This Iranian dictatorship is the 21st century equivalent of the worst of Nazi Germany, and have put Hitler, Himmler, Goebbels, et al, to shame by what the Mullahs are getting away with by the court of world opinion. 

The UN and many countries remain silent as they continue to recognize the current Iranian government as a legitimate member of the world’s civilized society? This is inhumane.

As the United States moves into position to defend the Iranian people, the world screams that President Trump is war-mongering, rather than demanding that the theocracy cease and desist the torture of its people, where is THEIR sense of justice and humanity? Apparently, in bed with the persecutors. 

One would think that after forty-seven years of this, the world as a whole would say “enough”. But it continues to maintain a blind eye to what the regime is doing in Iran. For what? To claim it recognizes the theocracy as a legitimate government at the cost of their failings to protect Iranian citizens?

How much long longer must we witness this double standard of blaming Israel for genocide while allowing the barbarians who rule Iran to continue unchecked?

This is one time that America’s military might should be used in the Middle East to remove this threat from its unfettered torture of its people and continued threat to peace in the region and the world. Yet the world “leaders” rumble in protest.

Wake up, people and support the Iranian citizens as THEY attempt true regime change. For THEIR freedom from continued barbarianism by their oppressors.

The Violation of Americans' Rights

One of the rights of ALL Americans is to be able to worship freely without interference by the government or by other citizens. Except, apparently, if you are an ICE agent in Minnesota.

What a shame by those people who decided to disrupt a religious service this past Sunday in St Paul, Minnesota because ICE agents were praying. And these same anti-ICE agitators scream that a Church should be considered a sanctuary place for illegal aliens. 

Such hypocrites!

Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon, who oversees the Civil Rights Division of the Department of Justice, announced an investigtion within hours, calling the protesters’ actions “desecrating a house of worship and interfering with Christian worshippers.”

Attacks against law enforcement and the intimidation of Christians are being met with the full force of federal law,” Attorney General Pam Bondi posted on X late Sunday night.

In announcing the federal investigation, Dhillon cited the FACE Act, a federal law that “prohibits the use or threat of force and physical obstruction that injures, intimidates, or interferes with a person seeking to … exercise the First Amendment right of religious freedom at a place of religious worship.” 

In addition, former CNN anchor Don Lemon said he was present at the demonstration as a journalist and not as a protester after Department of Justice officials suggested he could face charges soon.

"We will pursue charges,” Dhillon said.  She continued, saying Lemon could not use his role as a journalist as a “shield.”

Don Lemon himself has come out and said he knew exactly what was going to happen inside that facility. He went into the facility, and then he began, quote, unquote, committing journalism,” she said.

She singled out Lemon in a post on X, saying that he is “on notice.”

Of course, considering his lack of  prominence in the public eye and his narcissistic personality, he sent an email to CNN, claiming, “It’s notable that I’ve been cast as the face of a protest I was covering as a journalist, especially since I wasn’t the only reporter there. That framing is telling.”

He is attempting to make himself a martyr for “the cause”, as if he were a sacrificial lamb. He is far from it. And Don, nobody really cares about you.

It is time for the paid protesters to stand down and allow the ICE agents do the job that the CONGRESS legislated to do: enforce US immigration law. To remind those who forgot, it was a bi-partisan vote, where the House was controlled by Republicans and the Senate was controlled by Democrats.

These men and women are NOT Nazis or Gestapo, in spite of what leftist leaders like Tim Walz, JB Pritzker, Gavin Newsom  or Zohran Mamdani are claiming. Instead they are lawful, commissioned law enforcement officers, putting THEIR lives in danger to protect AMERICANS under the laws of the United States.

It is time to refocus our energies on the real rights of Americans and not the perceived rights of illegals.

In Honor of Dr Martin Luther King

Today, we celebrate the birthday of Rev Dr Martin Luther King Jr, a man who fought for racial equality in this country. And largely succeeded.

His marches through the South in the time of "Jim Crow" were met with resistance and with discrimination, certainly. But these marches, and the resulting negative response to those Governors and law enforcement action, made the rest of the country, and the Kennedy Administration take notice.
By the summer of 1963, Rev King had raised awareness so much; and on August 28, he led over 200,000 people to March on Washington to protest racial discrimination in front of the Lincoln Memorial where he delivered his "I Have a Dream" speech. Later that day, he was invited  back to the White House to meet with President Kennedy, his advisors and various other leaders to discuss the next steps to be taken.

Ultimately, the outcomes of these talks resulted in the passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Voting Rights Act of 1965

Sadly, his life was cut short on April 4, 1968, seven month before his 40th birthday. But his legacy and message live on.

On November 2, 1983, President Ronald Reagan signed legislation to make Martin Luther King Birthday a federal holiday. The following January, many states began celebrating the third Monday in January in his honor, until by 2000, all fifty states joined in. 

Today, we remember his struggles and honor his accomplishments. Happy Birthday, Dr King!

Hypocrisy Reveals Itself Again


It was revealed that Kamala Harris, the most recent FORMER Vice President, known by many for her word salad interviews, recently purchased a home in Malibu for a reported $8.15MM. Apparently, she paid off her alleged campaign debt in full for $20MM in order to qualify.

Old Kacklin’ Kammy joins a prominent list of Climate Change prognosticators including Al Gore, Barack Obama, Joe Biden and John Kerry who claimed the ice caps would melt by 2030 and dramatically change America’s coastline. Guess not, huh?

This topic has been debated for decades, which has had leading scientists showing evidence why their views are correct. Most liberals and Democrats have sided with the argument that people, and not nature, are primarily responsible for the change in climate.

The remedies included “the green new deal”, increased taxes on carbon emissions, requirements to utilize  more energy-reducing products and potentially mandating the usage of electric cars and buses. All of which does nothing to reduce greenhouse gases.

And of course, playing “chicken-little”at every turn to scare people to submit to their falsities. While still living as if their claims of disaster will not affect them.

Back in the 70s, the same crowd created laws requiring us to utilize MORE plastic in order to protect the rainforest and other tree-filled areas, like the American northwest from certain destruction. Now, plastic is outlawed in most communities due to its inability to be biodegradable.

Which is it?

George Carlin called out the so-called environmentalists years ago for their hypocrisy when he stated that their nonsense was due to the vain belief that they were trying to “protect the environment”. He remarked reminded us that the earth was around for four billion years before  us and would be here long after we were gone.

So, to sum up: Kamala Harris is just the latest to show that her words of doom are “for thee, but not for me.” And the next time a liberal screams about how YOU are destroying the environment with YOUR terrible lifestyle, point to her and others for THEIR hypocrisy.

The Snake Starts to Destroy the City - With Impunity

Remember when we watched old television shows or movies where a smiling traveling sales guy would offer a magical elixir where he would claim a person’s ills would be cured with his potion?

And then the people would realize this wasn’t a cure-all potion, but rather, poison?

Remember what he was considered by his victims? Right. A slimy “snake-oil” salesman.

Sadly, New York voters are finally seeing that Mayor Zohran Mamdani deployed a “fake smile” on the campaign trail to hide his “venomous” side, and New Yorkers self-deceived themselves into thinking his seemingly happy attitude was genuine. To their detriment.

And there is nothing they can do about it until 2029. There is no recall mechanism under New York State or City law.

In advertising, what he did was colloquially called “grin-fxck” the voters, by promising what they wanted to hear, even though their logic told them he would probably not deliver. But he appealed to their wants and desires as he flashed his toothy, insincere smile at them.

Like the proverbial snake did to Eve in the Garden of Eden.

 New Yorkers were able to get a glimpse of the real Mamdani, according to Concordia University professor, Gad Saad, during the self-described socialist’s fiery victory speech last November.

“When in the minority, act meek and like a victim,” Saad said. “But once in the majority, look how I put up my finger; that’s a very Arabic thing, once in the majority, show no tolerance.

“Smile at the neck, right?” he continued. “So, this fake smile suddenly turns into a venomous viper once I am in charge.”

An invaluable and costly “Lesson Learned” for New Yorkers as he begins to destroy New York City with his socialist agenda.

The Issuance of Visas and Their Suspension

​It was finally announced on Wednesday, that effective January 21, the US will suspend the issuance of visas from seventy-five countries. 

This follows up with the November vow by  President Trump to “permanently pause” the issuance of visas from residents of “third-world countries” after an Afghan national murdered a National Guard soldier.

The countries affected include  Somalia, Russia, Iran, Afghanistan,  Nigeria and Cambodia, among others.

You can imagine the howl of protest to be raised by the left claiming that this action is “racist, xenophobic, authoritarian, disregard for democratic norms” and other anti-Trump slogans. All to fire up the base by appealing to their emotions, rather than to rational thought.

We heard ALL these claims before by the same crowd while they screamed to “Free Palestine” after Hamas attacked Israel and killed so many innocents on October 7, 2023. 

Yet the same crowd is eerily silent now as Iranian civilians are protesting against the cruel, despotic IRGC and the Islamic Republic. Hypocrisy much?

So, yes. The US, as well as any other government, has the right to suspend, and further examine or revise its procedures to issue visas in any form before it allows entry into its country. It is common sense, especially if those countries’ motives are suspect.

The first order of business of any President and his Administration is to defend Americans, our Constitution and our way of life. Anything less would be criminal and foolhardy.

So, for those who wish to protest this action by the reasonable action by the Trump Administration, you may now sit down and shut up. Thank you.

The Continuing Revolution in Iran

​Ah, yes. The hypocrisy of the left is on full display once again. For months, they screamed for the world and the US to “Free Palestine” from the alleged Israeli tormentors after Hamas captured, and killed, many innocent Israelis celebrating peace at a music festival.

But, as the Islamic Republic ramped up its stranglehold on the Iranian citizens, we hear crickets from the left. 

Selective outrage strikes again on the left and its media press agents. Basically, the blaring sound of silence.

On January 14, the Islamic Republic is scheduled to execute Erfan Soltani, 26, via hanging after his arrest during the protests in Karaj last Thursday, the Iran Human Rights (IHR) and National Union for Democracy in Iran (NUFD) NGO groups said.

“His family was told that he had been sentenced to death and that the sentence is due to be carried out on 14 January,” the IHR said. 

His crime? He is charged with “waging war against God.” Right. Like God was offended because he criticized the Mullahs who cherished life so much.

And where are the feminists, who scream about how the rights to kill their babies are being deprived, while remaining silent when the Islamic Republic treats women worse than sheep or cows?

Look no further than how women are required to wear hijabs and buquas or face death. Brave women are removing their hijabs defiantly in spite of this threat.

🇮🇷 An Iranian woman publicly removed her burqa and revealed a T-shirt with an explicit message condemning Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

Good for her. Under Iran’s laws, this act is punishable by death. And she did it anyway.

While the regime fires live ammunition and shuts off the internet, ordinary Iranians are still standing up, knowing the risk, accepting it, and refusing to be silent.

Yet, this does not follow the agenda of the American left. Therefore, our media refuses to report it.

The Iranian people need to be heard. It is about time we give them a real loudspeaker before they are silenced by the terrorist dictatorship again.

Time To Cancel Awards Shows

​Did anyone see the Golden Globe Awards Ceremony last night on CBS? Anyone?!?

I, for one, did not. I was too busy watching the paint dry, hearing the wind blow, witnessing the trees leaf and just doing something else more entertaining. Or more important.

For many years, I have avoided these self-aggrandizing, narcissistic “look at me, I’m special” award shows. These self-righteous “celebrities” with no more talent than most high school performers take to the stage to spew some BS  about what they feel is wrong or unjust in America, without giving a thought to what is really wrong in the rest of the world.

Believing that taking the platform gives them license to share their opinions.

RED ALERT: No one gives a $#!+ what you have to say.

Here is part of what one of your colleagues, Ricky Gervais, said a few years ago to make this point directly to you when he hosted the Golden Globes in 2020:

"So if you do win an award tonight, don’t use it as a platform to make a political speech. You’re in no position to lecture the public about anything. You know nothing about the real world. Most of you spent less time in school than Greta Thunberg. 

So if you win, come up, accept your little award, thank your agent, and your God and fxck off, OK? It’s already three hours long. Right, let’s do the first award."

He was so right. And honest. It was a funny bit which I heard on YouTube in its entirety. It was refreshing to see the Hollywood elite called out by one of their own.

But, some still think their opinions matter. And they are so narcissistic they don’t realize no one cares 

Laura Ingraham once wtote a book called Shut Up and Sing where she said essentially the same thing. But the "celebrities" apparently did not read her book. And that was written in 2003.

Perhaps, it is time they should.

The Devil’s Patsy


Do you wonder how the Ayatollah and his mullah sycophants can claim he is a leader of a “religion of peace and love” while calling for the death of his own people because they disagree with him? It is amazing that so many in the West believe he is a “holy man”.

Unless, of course, he is faithful to Satan and not God. Is Satan his Allah?

Reports are coming out of Iran that the protesters of the current illegitimate Islamic Republic are being shot at and killed by the sadistic leader of this country because they are calling for the return of anything other than what they presently live under.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio backed the “brave people of Iran” Saturday, while protesters calling for regime change continue to burn Tehran, as fear grows that the death toll has climbed to more than 200.

Meanwhile, the Islamic Republic’s supreme leader placed the country’s security services on its highest alert Saturday. 

In addition, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei ordered the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps to activate “missile cities,” or giant underground caches of ballistic weapons, sources told The Telegraph and other media willing to publish this.

The IRGC’s underground missile cities, which were deliberately kept intact during the 12-day war, are all on high alert,” the insider said, adding that any intervention by the US could trigger an “apocalyptic” war.

But the people continue to protest without regard to their own safety. Women are openly defying a basic rule of sharia law that their hair must be covered when in public. No matter the consequences.

The exiled-Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi  is encouraging the people to continue to protest and has called on the military to stand down to, instead, support the people.

But the Ayatollah is demanding that the military open fire on unarmed citizens. Is this a man who wants to love the people of his country or one who is dreading the final judgement of his failing government?

Certainly, Satan has arranged a special spot in Hell for his acolyte and those who follow this murderous call.

The World Looks to a Free Iran

Nine days ago, the Iranian citizenry began demonstrations against the theocratic rulers of their country due to worsening economic conditions, which has made food and water scarce, inflation rising over 50% and restriction on personal liberty intolerable. In previous incarnations of protests, the struggles were quashed by both police and military force.

This time, however, the police and much of the military are standing down. Instead, they are supporting the people rather than the Mullahs.

There is finally growing support to the people's cause both internally and internationally. The Ayatollah and his inner regime has recognized this, and rumors swirl that he and his cronies are trying to prepare an exit strategy to Moscow or Bejing. Of course taking billions of stolen dollars with them.

The world watches and waits for the next moves. The Israeli government has offered support for the people, which appears to embolden their resolve to continue to take back the country from their oppressors.

The recent outcome in Venezuela and the happiness shared by that country's citizens over the removal of their dictator have given hope and inspiration for a similar outcome in Iran. Women are even shedding their hijabs in the confidence that a new day is coming. Soon.

One must look to history for guidance. In 1989, months after President Reagan called for the Berlin Wall to be taken down, the people, with the support of the police and military, did so. Without arned government interference. Is this repeating in Iran?

Calls for Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi are growing stronger each day to return from exile to his rightful place to be the new Shah. Spending the last forty-seven years under the theocratic rule of the IRGC has shown the people how great Iran was under the Pahlavi government.

It took months for Eastern Europe  and Berlin to free itself from the yoke of the former Soviet Union. It could be only weeks, or days, until the people of Iran free themselves from the Islamic Terror they were living under.

For that, the world will rejoice when it is able to celebrate with Iranians and scream, "Iran Is Free Once Again!"

A Blessed End to the Christmas Season

Today, for Catholics and Christians worldwide, we celebrate the Feast of the Epiphany, or manifestation of Jesus Christ to the world. We are witnesses via the the Magi or the three Wise Men to this event.

For many Christian sects, including the Greek and Russian Orthodox faithful, as well as  Coptic, Assyrian, Armenian and other Christians, today Christmas is celebrated.

Biblical accounts, especially discussed in the Gospel.of Matthew, place the Birth of Jesus during the reign of King Herod the Great, deemed to be between 6 and 4 BCE. This appears to align as well to the planetary alignment, or "syzygy" the Magi observed. 

These were learned men, who apparently read some of the prophesies foretelling the birth of the Messiah, and as such, looked to this alignment as if a star were leading them to his birthplace. When they arrived in Jesusalem, Matthew's gospel reveals they met with Herod in order to meet with the King of the Jews.

Herod was furious and ordered that all boys under two years old should be slaughtered, according to these gospel. While no historical  account exists specifically to corroborate the event, other well-documented facts exist to support Herod's madness discussed in both Matthew and Luke's gospels.

It is impossible to expect that these events occurred within in days of each other, ie, the Birth of Jesus and the Epiphany to the Magi. But over the centuries they have been linked together by many societies to tell the story of Christmas. And it makes the season even more magical. 

In many countries, this is a religious holiday as Christ's birth is revered by many one more time before we turn our focus onto Lent, the events of Holy Week, Christ's crucifixion and His Ressurection, which is the basics to our faith.

So, for those who celebrate Christ's birth today, Merry Christmas. For the rest of us, may you continue to bask in the warmth of the season the whole year long.

And perhaps, one day we will all live in peace which we have been promised.

Starting the New Year on the Wrong Foot

Happy New Year, My Friends. I hope you all had a joyous holiday season and have recouped from your eating binges and celebrations

And of course, while we were making merry and shedding our troubles as 2025 ended, and 2026 began, there were three events of note which occurred this weekend.

First up - Nicolas Maduro is no longer terrorizing Venezualans and the rest of the Western Hemisphere with his lust for power, his drug-running or his blatant disregard for all things NOT Maduro. Instead, he is locked away in federal custody awaiting his indictment for his crimes against humanity. More on this to come as events continue to unfold.

Second - Socialist Zohran Mamdani is now the Mayor of New York City. And as part of his campaign promise to provide free bus and subway transportation, the fare was INCREASED by ten cents to $3.00. Obviously, his minions who expected a free giveaway when he took office are not happy with this. While he does not run the MTA, he is off to a rollicking bad start before his first weekend is even over. To be continued, surely.

And finally - the Chief Tampon, uh, Executive of Minnesota, Tim Walz, who announced in September that he would seek an unprecedented third term for Governor, no matter what, has decided that he will cut and run, blaming his family, instead of facing the wrath of Minnesota's voters for his utter incompetence. You know, like letting Minneapolis burn in 2020. Or, like allowing vital services to evaporate while key individuals ravaged the state's Treasury on fraudulent schemes. Typical backbone and guts from a man who served with stolen valor. 

Five days into the new year and the dust has already tarnished a promising year. It makes one wonder what else is in store for us over the remaining 360 days. 

We can hardly wait to see what comes next in the continuing tales of "As Political Crap Turns".
