End the Ongoing Transition Dramafest - NOW!

There are now two designees for the Trump 2.0 Cabinet who have come under fire by Republican Senators who will Advice and Consent to these potential nominations. And they both involve potential sexual scandal and other conduct unbecoming.

The first, Matt Gaetz, has already withdrawn his name from consideration. The second, Pete Hegseth, is reportedly ready to do the same.

While the ultimate decision was President Trump's to make, the fault lies with his Transition Team who make the recommendations to him. Their primary responsibility is to vet potential candidates to make certain they recommend the best candidates for each post. There can be no doubt these are the best.

Someone has failed in his or her primary task and must be held accountable.

It has been reported that once Hegseth withdraws, Donald Trump will immediately announce the designation of Governor Ron DeSantis to be Secretary of Defense, much like he designated Pam Bondi to be Attorney General. He wasted no critical time debating that time. Nor should he waste time here, either. 

Governor DeSantis will be an excellent choice, as he served as former member of the Navy Judge Advocate General Corps, holding the rank of Lieutenant Commander, did a tour in Iraq and was on a short-list of potential defense secretary candidates presented to Trump by transition officials. If confirmed, he would be succeeded by his long-time Lieutenant Governor, Jeanette Nunez, who holds as Governor DeSantis.

Let’s hope this drama ends quickly, with no more surprises, so we can be assured of a smooth transition to the next Administration.

Has Mayor Adams FINALLY Come to His Senses?

A change of heart and in practice has come to Mayor Upgrade Adams. Heretofore, he was a supporter of illegal immigrants living in The City and continued to uphold the long-held practice of New York City as a Sanctuary City.

 

But today's late online edition of the New York Post is reporting on a different and enlightened Mayor.

“My position is people who commit crimes in our city, you have abdicated your right to be in our city and I am open to figure out the best way to address that,” he said.

Wow! He is abandoning the DeBlasio Mandate and the Biden Doctrine of protecting illegal immigrants from deportation EVEN if they commit a crime in New York City. This a a huge first step toward sanity in The City.

And then he said, “You’ve got a guy, he’s on camera shooting at a police officer,” he said, referring to Bernardo Castro Mata, a 19-year-old from Venezuela who illegally crossed into the US before allegedly shooting two NYPD officers. “I don’t want that guy in my city, plain and simple.”

As a former NYPD Police Captain, he is finally seeing the light. He said he will work with the incoming Trump Àdministration Border “Czar” Tom Homan to find other areas of accommodation and cooperation.

Challenging other progressive and the woke cancel culture he continued, “Cancel me, because I’m going to protect the people of this city.” Now, this was a dare to those who are still hiding behind their cowardly positions instead of standing up for law-abiding people.

Once President Trump takes office, let’s hope Mayor Adams continues to follow through on his promises to the people of the City of New York.

A Reasonable Request From a Reasonable Man

Surprisingly, Republicans and conservatives were not the only people critical of President Joe Biden's pardon of his son, Hunter Biden, of his crimes which included tax evasion and illegal gun possession. Newsmax and other outlets have revealed that Democrats and independents have found it to be a step over the line, too, bordering on Obstruction of Justice and Abuse of Power.

 

Hmmm…. Shades of Nixon and Watergate, don’t you think?

Of the many calls to criticize this action by Biden, one reasonable voice has called for another action by Biden.

Retiring Independent Senator Joe Manchin, probably the most bi-partisan person in the Senate, has called for Biden to issue an equally blanket pardon for Donald Trump for HIS alleged transgressions for which he had been indicted and are now being tossed.

"I am just saying, wipe them out," the West Virginia independent and former Democrat told CNN on Monday, reports the New York Post. "Why don't you go ahead and pardon Donald Trump for all his charges and make it, you know, it would have gone down a lot more balanced, if you will."

It seems reasonable, given that Biden promised, pledged and otherwise said he WOULD NOT grant his son a pardon. Until he did.

Other Democrats who were critical of the pardon include Senators Michael Bennett from Colorado, Gary Peters from Michigan, Bernie Sanders from Vermont and Representatives Greg Stanton from Arizona, Glenn Ivey from Maryland and several others.

And it was reported in the New York Post that Jill Biden was pressuring Joe the Pardoner to pardon her stepson, probably to help repair the fractured relationship she has maintained over the years with Hunter. She, of course, has had a tight control of most of Joe’s activities and actions.

It is time for all of this to stop and to begin healing our nation. Senator Manchin’s request is an important step in beginning this process.

Then, we can go back to being a United States of Americans, not a Divided States of Democrats and Republicans.

Hamas Has Been Sternly Warned - Finally

Hamas and other anti-Israeli sympathizers have been warned by Donald Trump today after it was disclosed that an American and New Yorker Omer Neutra, 21, was killed by Hamas during the Oct. 7, 2023, terrorist attack on Israel.

 

Someone needed to say something or do something, and no one from the Biden regime did.

“Everybody is talking about the hostages who are being held so violently, inhumanely, and against the will of the entire World, in the Middle East – But it’s all talk, and no action!” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

“Please let this TRUTH serve to represent that if the hostages are not released prior to January 20, 2025, the date that I proudly assume Office as President of the United States, there will be ALL HELL TO PAY in the Middle East, and for those in charge who perpetrated these atrocities against Humanity,” he said.

As the article in the New York Post discussed, he has placed the entire Middle East terrorists on notice that he will not stand idly by as Biden and his goons did. Just look at his appointees to deliver in no uncertain terms that he means what he said.

The Biden-Harris regime, which had tried and continually failed for a year to broker a cease-fire agreement to free the hostages, will likely be incapable to secure the captives’ freedom by the end of Biden’s term next month.

It will fall to Trump to clean up Biden’s disastrous mess in Gaza and elsewhere.

It will be the first of many tests he will face in the first one hundred days. But he will not be long before he reacts if Hamas fails to heed his warning.

And the clock is ticking down quickly to January 20 with less than forty-nine days until we find out.

The Pardoning of People Deemed Politically Persecuted

It was revealed last night that President Biden pardoned his son, Hunter, from the tax evasion and illegal gun possession charges that he pleaded guilty to back in the late summer/early fall. Under the Constitution, he is legally permitted to do this.

 

But is he ETHICALLY violating his promise NOT to pardon him?

Donald Trump asked a question which needs to be answered. Why weren’t the J6 demonstrators pardoned for violating far less criminality than what his son did?

“Does the Pardon given by Joe to Hunter include the J-6 Hostages, who have now been imprisoned for years? Such an abuse and miscarriage of Justice!” Trump posted on Truth Social.

He is right. The whole J6 “investigation” was a scam perpetrated by Nancy Pelosi, Liz Cheney, and other Never-Trumpers, conveniently filmed and edited by Pelosi’s daughter, to make this scam look real. And now, it is all falling apart.

In addition, as Steven Cheung noted in the New York Post report, the Department of Justice “must be fixed and due process must be restored for all Americans, which is exactly what President Trump will do as he returns to the White House with an overwhelming mandate from the American people.”

While Biden has done what he did, because felt his son was politically persecuted, by his own DOJ, Democrats must now sit down and keep their mouths shut when President Trump does what he feels is HIS Constitutional right to provide justice for those were ACTUALLY politically persecuted.

And may this NEVER happen again in America.

Are the Politically Connected Exempt From the Law?

This is such an irony. Abbe Lowell, Hunter Biden's attorney, is crying crocodile tears because he is claiming the young Biden is being politically prosecuted. And persecuted.

 

By whom? Certainly not by the Republicans. Instead, he was brought to trial by HIS FATHER'S OWN DOJ.

He is asking, pleading actually, for Biden's father to grant a pardon before he leaves office. And many Democrats and leftists are jumping on that bandwagon.

It was reported in the Sunday online editions of the New York Post that Lowell claims, “It is a wild and terrifying story that serves as a stark warning of what is to come as some of the same Republicans who targeted Hunter prepare to resume power and have stated their intention to use the government’s vast power to pursue their perceived enemies.”

But since 2019, nary a peep was heard from this jerkweed when Nancy Pelosi, Adam Schiff and their ilk were impeaching Donald Trump TWICE and then, seeing four unfounded and unjustified cases brought forward to try and prevent him from running again. Why is that Abbe? Wasn't ALL THAT not persecution, too?

Or do you have a peculiar view of what is prosecutable if you are a Democrat?

No, Abbe. Hunter Biden is NOT entitled to be pardoned. He has to be sentenced and be treated like any other person who illegally possessed a gun or tried to evade taxes.

If not, then it proves there is a separate code of Justice in this country; one for the politically connected and one for the rest of us. Is not everyone subject to the same laws?

Or are some people above the law, as long as they are Democrats? Please explain it to us so we understand the ground rules.

Otherwise, sit down, Abbe, and shut up.

Happy Meteorological Winter, 2024 to 2025

Winter officially begins in the Northern Hemisphere this year on December 21. For meteorologists, the winter season actually starts on December 1, with Meteorological Winter.

 

Meteorologists break down the seasons into groups of three months, December, March, June and September. And each season starts on the First of each of these months

And, by the way, the Hurricane Season is done for 2024. It begins again on the first day of Meteorological Summer, June 1.

This month, we will enjoy a full moon on the 15th, meteor showers called the Leonids from November 3 to December 2, the December phi Cassiopeiids, activity on December 4, the  Ursids from December 16 to 26, and finally, on December 7, Jupiter opposition. The biggest planet in the solar system will be on display in the December sky after sundown.

And for children of all ages, Santa will be arriving on December 24 on Christmas Eve. Then, on the night of the 25th, kids will spin their dradles and parents will light their Menorahs to celebrate the eight nights of Hanukkah.

It is a wondrous time of year.

Soon enough it will be getting light out earlier each night. Don’t forget, as of December 1, there are seventy days to the Super Bowl and seventy-five days to Valentines Day, and Pitchers and Catchers. And ninety days to Meteorological Spring on March 1.

Can Opening Day be far behind?

The Plight of the Remaining Hostages

Do you recall during the period of the Obama Administration that ISIS would routinely parade hostages in front of the cameras and force them to recite untrue or horrible things just prior to being killed and broadcast on world television to intimidate the world to bow to its demands? And we were angered and repulsed by such inhumane and barbaric acts?

 

The leadership of Hamas has proven that it learned from ISIS and brought its barbarism to the lowest depths imaginable. They are proving they have no regard for human life.

It was reported in Saturday’s late online edition ot the New York Post that a hostage taken by Hamas on October 7, 2023, New Jersey native Idan Alexander, that suggests the days might be numbered for him and the other remaining hostages. He is seen pleading with Prime Minister Netanyahu and President-Elect Donald Trump not to abandon him and his fellow-captives.

Apparently, no mention is made to President Biden or to anyone in his regime to come to their aid. Even Hamas has no respect for Biden and his band of incompetents.

And yet, Tlaib and Omar, and all their hateful squad members will not show any mercy on these souls who have held captive under the worst possible conditions for over 420 days. Why? Because they are all cold-hearted sympathizers to this terrorist gang of thugs.

Of course, Biden has no clue, really, of what is actually happening in Gaza. And the American media felt it was more important to report on him buying a book than to call out this demented old fool for his blatant indifference for abandoning the American hostages destined for certain death.

And the Kamster is still wallowing in her drunken stupor and self-pity over her loss to Trump to actually care about anyone else. Thank God she was not elected. She, too, is a failure in her position as Vice President.

While we pray no harm will come to the remaining hostages held captive in Gaza, only fifty more days until a real leader takes power in Washington.
